oh my gosh! she is the most amazing soloist i have ever heard in a choir like this! she has a future. the choir is amazing too! nothing could have gone better.

Please keep coming back 💝This was my daughter Katie her senior year. She’s in the right front row and hard to spot. Tonight I noticed her in the beginning of Allyson’s part. There’s a shadowy over view video of her just over Allyson’s right shoulder. Katie passed away just days before their 10 year class reunion in 2019. I love this show and although it breaks my heart, I never want her to be forgotten. This is a beautiful way to see her immortalized. Thank you 🙏🏻

Her name is Allyson Hovda. She is also Miss Teen Iowa. She is absolutely amazing! She went to my sister's and brother's school last year. She WILL be famous someday!
I saw them perform 4 different times, and that girl was amazing each time.
Okay, may I say when I saw this for the first time live, I literally fell out of my chair when the chorus came in the first time. That was probably the most spectacular ballad I've ever heard.

I saw this the year i started show choir in 7th grade. so it was one of the first high school show choirs I saw and I sat in awe as I watched this and three years later I am still stunned.

I was in Explosion! (the choir that hosted Viking Cup), and watched this performance live. Hands down the most powerful show choir ballad of my entire high school career. I'm still coming back to watch it today!
You had to be there... that standing ovation was one of the most amazing moments of my show choir life. I was sitting in the third row, and a girl behind me was in complete hysterics. Performers were crying, too--you can see it on some of their faces. It wasn't about the competition or the soloists anymore, it was about the song and how it felt to be sitting there and witnessing it.

I remember watching this my freshman year of high school when I was on the jv show choir at my school and I was completely awestruck. I had goosebumps watching it and still get them. They where just phenomenal.
i remeber sitting in the 5th row hearing this for the first time. i was sobbing my eyes out. it still to this day gives me goosebumps. truly amazing:')

As I stated, this is a phenomenal video, and all of what you said I can believe to be true. I did not see this live, no. But my point is that show choir ballads are about showcasing the entire choir's vocal performance, and having them sing back up for more than half the song really only showcases the soloists voice.

Wow! you guys are fantastic. I am in show choir as well in Illinois and I know that you guys have fantastic vocals. I am in Forte from PalatineHigh School. I just wanted you guys to kow that your group sunds great and your female soloist is. . .I have no words. She is amazing. I can't even puts words too it. I'm not sure if this is part of this years show for yu or last year, but Good Luck. You guys are great : )

Before people hate on my comment, I would like to say that both the soloist and this choir sang very well, and I do recognize that this video is phenomenal. However, my biggest"beef" with this song is that over 50% of the vocal power comes from the soloist. This is called show CHOIR for a reason and it's really disappointing to me when I see a group with such amazing voices singing back up for an entire song. It seems like a cop out to give the choir some rest before the rest of their show.
