Amazing video Saffy, soundtrack was spot on, well done you!! 👍👍
Thanks for the amazing views Saffy!! You're a real inspiration! ☀
Thank you so much 💖
Nobody talks about the panic when the barrier lifts for you to go and you are still 20 seconds away from being ready. Happened to me lots. The anxiety 😂
THE ANXIETY IS REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!
Wow! What a beautiful country I am living in! Have to explore the mountains again. Thanks as always for fun and inspiration.
Thanks for the update. Stay safe.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Afternoon Staffy 👌. Well at least it was dry, both ways kido 😅. Some great views in coming down the mountain... Safe enjoyable riding till next time girl 👍😁.
Hey saffy , when your that low on petrol ,you should hit the kill switch pull the clutch in and roll down the mountain, i do . Fuel anxiety, taking wrong turns , toll booths, putting tent up in dark and rain , it's all memories in the making well done great episode
Ah, smaaaaarttttt!!!!
Frankly watching Saffy - I'd rather engine brake in high gear as otherwise momentum might overcome one. Then you can gently ride the wheel brakes with out stressing them or shock the front fork. I do not know about where Saffy was, although incredible as it was, but when breaking down on the road sometimes folks can be neighborly - for example, suppose instead the drive chain broke then you might want to find the nearest neighbor on the road, and then the next if necessary. About the tail of the Dragon turns, Im glad the road appeared dry and no mountain runoffs making them slippery.
@@ClassicRider seen me turn of emgine and freewheel down a mountain rd, the silence is deafening. Of course this goes terribly wrong when you have an alarm on your bike as my mate found out
@@SaffySprocket No Saffy, it is NOT smart. It is very stupid. Your brakes will fade.
Every trip gets better and better as we learn.
So true!
The guy in border control sounded like Terry Scott as Tarzan in Carry on Up The Jungle. LOL.
They're all just battle scars that you'll remember with humour some day Saffy. As wise man once said to me, " life is what happens when you're making other plans !!".
The story's worth telling are the ones that go wrong
Another great video Sprocket Lady! 🫶….you certainly love a toll road!! 😂.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 they love me
Wow - You are Incredible - Travel carefully dearest. Looks like I'm going to have to check in more often - You are incredible - Love the drums - also excellent video editing - keeps one watching at all times -
Just come back from Gran Canaria and riding the sv650 for a week what a fab bike.
Beautiful vistas Saffy, I was sharing your anxiety 😮.❤
Great tour video saffy
the booth guy killed me
"W O M A N"
Ok 👍👌 Saffy
Getting lost on the way on or off Italian motorways is a very normal thing. The funny part is that the Italians charge the same money for their Autobahn regardless if you drive a car or ride a bike! To make up for that we have to drink away their Negroni!
Anyways, great ride! You found a lot of mini-roads w/o traffic in the Austrian Alps, where it usually is kinda difficult to be alone. I´m looking forward for more! Love G
P.S. 2:24 : Godspeed!
ah man, couldn't believe the price of the motorways!
Well done Saffy, yuor our star on a bike.😊👍🏍
Thank you so much 🥰
Your trip reminds me of 1978 when my girlfriend and I went from Denmark to Monaco on my Suzuki GT550. Thank you! We came to a toll road too but we were allowed to turn around after speaking to a very nice assistent. You are not caught with a toll road in front of you. Please do not break the traffic rules here in Europe. That might be normal in England, but it's not here. It is also for your safety.
the important thing is to keep up the enthusiasm, I always pray that I will be healthy, always happy, stay focused with positive thinking that is done every day, is running now
:)
Every day is a new adventure. Stay safe and be happy😀
🥰🥰🥰🥰
I thought you kept calm in a crisis Saffy 🤣 I'd have been bleep bleep bleeping my way down the motorway. :)
😂 raging on the inside ...and put 😂😂😂
You made it! Definitely good music editing because I was feeling the moment! Your content is awesome!
Nice video... Just a bit more planning..would make life a lot easier. Very brave for a good cause! Can't wait to see what happens next
I had a Harley Sportster 1600 ,I always topped up every 60 miles ,but still carried a fuel bottle.
Glad you could figure out the toll roads.
Keep showing the real trials and tribulations in you videos Saffy.
Dad mad a wrong turn after I had a medical procedure and couldn't drive myself. Was about twenty five miles before I could convince him he was going wrong. Got headed back in the right direction and he cussed for a solid five minutes. Extended the 270 mile trip home a bit.
Thank you so much!
Great vid, I certainly would not have the balls to do what you do, riding around Europe alone, well done Saffy, I'm really enjoying watching your adventures. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Yay Saffy Sprocket!
🥰🥰🥰
Another great video stunning scenery
Glad you enjoyed it
Found you from when you were featured on RUclips's Creator on the rise, those views were incredible, love the videos, can't wait to see more
Welcome aboard! And thank you so much 🥰💕🥰😘
Your sense of direction is priceless 😂
Well, maybe not priceless when you get rinsed at a toll road 😅
😭 the toll roads in Switzerland were way worse
Saffy ,well done 👍 could of coasted down hills tho , oh everyone takes a few rong turns in life ,then you find your way and it all adds to the adventure . take care X stay safe xx 🍀💕😘🙏🍀 ❤️ U
Thank you so much :D
Saffy, it all worked out eventually. When the time comes to replace Rocket, you really need to find a bike with a longer range tank for the touring. I admire the way you do this with what appears to be only a phone. A sat nav would take away a lot of the anxiety. Voice commands as well as visual, from a proper screen. A sprocket fund raiser perhaps?
I get voice commands in my helmet :D Its rider error rather than Google Maps!
@@SaffySprocket . OK, you have come a long way in 2 years. Long may your enjoyment and experiences continue. Stay safe out there.
Amazing views and roads, Saffy. Well, apart from the motorway that is 🤣🤣 stay safe and mistakes make you wiser in life 😉
ahahaha I'll be grey, old and wise in no time if I keep this up!
Select the avoid motorways on your sat nav device. Also avoid tolls.
I think you should invest in a better sat nav. Yours keeps taking you the wrong way. I have a Tom Tom Rider 500 and you can program it to make “via”. Also gives you lane directions too. So you can avoid going the wrong way
Hey saffy travelling around Europe is an awesome experience and each trip only get better with experience, I myself have done a few trips now and loved each one and yes I have had the experience of the Italian motorway lol, however what I would say is to invest in a proper sat nav as phone are not designed to sit on handlebars of motor bikes and do have a tendency to go tits up when you lest want it to, if you lost you phone now in the middle of Italy you lose your comms home and your navigation, this would sour your experience of riding some of the best roads in the world, as for fuel you can buy little 1tr fuel cans as emergency get out of jail cards but that's a personal choice. Anyway I hope you enjoy your trip as I'm hopefully going to go west to east across the pyrenees then up the coast to menton the head north up the route des grandes alpes later on this year not decided when yet though lol.
if you stayed on that motor way you end up in Italy :) you had already paid
It's a good job you did fuel up so you could go back and forth along the motorway 😄
😂😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Huhu Saffy, ich hasse diese Maut Stationen! Lieben Gruß aus Berlin, Ralf
Hallo ❤️ they are the worst
sending ❤️ from 🇵🇭!
💖💖💖💖
We got trolled by the Italian tolls!
It's a user pay system based on kilometres, but you can't get off.
Pay to go up... then pay to come back and find a side road to get to where you want to go, which was halfway.
Gloves off, push button, put ticket somewhere, gloves back on... gloves off, put ticket in machine, find wallet, get card, PIN doesn't work (3 times), find cash, doesn't give change, waiting... still no change. Gloves back on... change tinkles out.
Look at change, just ride away.
The weather looked nice...
I got really lucky, the following day, not so much 😂
I did the same mistakes on my first EU tour ..lol. 😆The worst place was in France and Croatia ... I was never been so annoyed ..haha. One little mistake and it cost 70-80km to the wrong direction... AAAA! I know the feeling...
I have had many EU /UK touring trips over the years and 1000s pictures to back them up, hopefully Lithuania and Latvia this year. Can you advise me on what type of camera's you use on the bike. I also fancy a bit play with a drone, what sort of entry level drone could you advise?
I have a Lumix Gh5, insta 369 X2, DJI Mavic mini 2 and a GoPro 10 :)
@@SaffySprocket Reet next question. Not being from a technical back ground (I can strip a bike down to frame and get it back together) I would be interested in your thoughts on a simple (and free) video editing software. Any advice appreciated
A little compass might help! Still lovely scenery and put it down to experience.
I use earbuds for directions so far so good and google maps. Turn off motorways n tolls.
I do have a headset for music and directions, I'm just useless
@@SaffySprocket Dont get trolled by the tolls😂
P.s Make sure you update maps every so often. (Mine usually does Auto)
Am yet to do Spain etc but hopefully soon!
Hi Saffy. Wow, those switchbacks are any biker's dream. You wanted advice on a new motorcycle. I can only suggest one with a bigger fuel tank... ⛽️ 😅
😂 problem is, bigger fuel tank, bigger fuel consumption
are you aware there's no sound between15:40 and 16:40? might be just on my end but I can't hear anything during that part????
Whooops!
great ride what map app do you use
Good to see you managed to escape that highway trap before losing your last penny! Yes, shit happens. But you can't have highs if you're not willing to take lows.
Ah man, I ended up on the Swiss ones a few days later, by the end of the day, I was £80 lighter. Came back to the UK like, thank god we pay road tax
Yeah, Swiss roads are the roads in Swizerland where you can hear your money fly away while riding: swiss swiss swiss...
Hopefully you didn't go through the same barrier control but you still made it ❤❤
your turning into our itchy boots well done .
FYI: 15:40-16:35 is muted so you're missing a minute of your post-video info
Edit: just checked the previous vids and they're fine so it's a local export error, rather than a copywrite strike on that background song, I believe.
👍👍
Loving the new angle of footage is it a body cam / gimble? So smooth. And music/ scenery is beautiful. What's not to love!
Ride safe, Lady J Rider
Thank you! I bought a new GoPro before the trip! The built in stabilisation is insanely good!!!
@Saffy Sprocket thats great! What model is it? I'm starting out with a hero4 on my helmet. I'm about to add another on my mirror. Would love some tips for motovloggers if you're ever open to ideas.
I love your channel and recent adventures were super brave and in the cold.
Saffy you are amazing just had a lol moment when you managed a huge 😁 when you were clearly exhausted you are an inspiration when it comes to tenacity!big respect go steady and look after yourself love Richard in Nottingham PPS I offered you a Virtual hug coz you looked like you needed one x
❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey Saffy, it's kinda strange seeing you riding on the right side
I preferred it tbh 😂😂😂😂😂
If you're paying attention to the speedo or the fuel gauge, you're doing it wrong!
I say this, having run out of fuel on the M60 with a fully loaded SV. I had to push it uphill along the hard shoulder. At night. For anyone that doesn't know, the M60 doesn't have service stations.
So, Saffy, I for one know exactly how much fuel an SV tank will hold (it's more than the fuel gauge thinks, but you probably don't want to push your bike uphill like an idiot :D )
ahahaha so true! and oh nOOoOOo the m60 is the worst!
👍️👍️👍️✨
Mmmmm whilst I do enjoy the videos I found the drama of fuel somewhat perplexing as I can clearly see 1/3 of a tank on fuel gauge 🤔🤔🤔
Nope! It was flashing and I was carrying too much weight!
@SaffySprocket will let you off then 🤣🤣 I'm just paranoid about fuel it happened once never again 🤣
Ps you and petrol don’t get along too well, do you? 😅😅
Very observant from him, Woman.
7:51 What are the striped areas on the ground and the arrows pointing in other directions for?
Glad that no one came to meet you in the curves on the left side of the road. 3:27, 4:09 and so on: ruclips.net/video/Co5tvEZAlJc/видео.html
❤️🥰😘😎👍🤘
🥰🥰🥰🥰
practice turning the engine off on downhill sections
Good advice 😃💯

Too easy when it all goes to plan.
