It's incredible the sea of difference between Sparg0, Acola, and perhaps Sonix compared to the rest of the top players in Smash. While others play very well and make it seem like there's a top 2, top 3, and that they're close to Sparg0, the reality is, in this tournament, NO ONE even came close to him at all. He's one of those players who comes to dominate, it's surprising. Congratulations to Shadic as well, undoubtedly if he keeps this up, he looks to be a promising player in the competitive scene
He does the best against the other horsemen but does the worst against everyone else. He's the most likely to get upset of all the other horsemen. Acola loses almost exclusively to the other horsemen, basically nobody other than Spargo, Sonix, and Miya can beat him. He's definitely still number 1. Yeah he's character carried, but result-wise he's still number 1.

Spargo is the most talented player. Cloud has stuff for sure, but almost all other top 10 players play far more carried characters like Steve and game and watch. Not only does spargo use a much more skill based character, dude wins almost everything. Number 1 in terms of skill for sure. And shadic is getting there definitely top 15 at this point no question.
You can tell how good Sparg0 are when you read coments of people calling cloud broken and easy (some stupid call it a better character than gnw lol), that guy carries cloud so bad that made it looks like a steve slayer or something, what a beast.

Shadic seemed to let Spargo have complete control throughout these entire matches. I don’t think he’s accustomed to aggressive playstyles as much and spargo took advantage of it seeing as it was working for him as soon as he approached more without letting Shadic think much. Shadic is such a good player and I’ve never heard of him until now. I have high hopes for him!
As a Corrin player myself (alongside Joker) I definitely want to see more of Shadic. Spargo is definitely an impressive player, I will not deny that, but seeing my main, a character that seems to be hated by many in the Smash community despite their release being almost 8 years ago (just move on already!), doing this well is great for me to see. In all honestly, if a person comes 2nd place to Spargo, they’re still doing well

Shadic fails and fails at using one of corrin's best tools, forward smash attack could have won him many situations, too bad he defintely deserves to lose until he masters his character much like Spargo has. What a shame I want SHADIC TO WIN!!!!!! SO close and I'm not taking away from his AMAZING performance not to mention he made it to GF, hes a beast.

I know he’s a solo Diddy player now but that match up looks really rough for Diddy. Diddy is a way better character than seph but for that match at least he might have to bring the seph back out.

Tweek lost to 2 different Steve players, a character that Diddy Kong has an ABYSMAL matchup into and his secondaries, while still good, aren't nearly as polished as his Diddy. SHADIC is really talented and as been on a killer run recently and he felled Light and Leo. Kola had an insane run this tournament and also beat Leo and Light. Zomba and Light fought, as only 4 players can make it to winners side top 8 meaning if all goes as seeded, two of the top 5 seeds will fight each other at some point, and zomba lost that. Zomba also lost to Lima, a really strong bayo player. None of them lost to "randoms", they just either got unlucky with matchups like Tweek, got outplayed by SHADIC and Kola or fought each other.
Lucina main don't because of morality, roys and chroms don't because they love swinging too much, ike mains don't exist in 2024, Marth mains don't because they love set-ups too much. Corrin's is too utility to be as useful as the others.

Not hating on Spargo, he is a very good player. But sorry seeing him play Cloud is so boring. Cloud has so many Abilities that kill so early and still this character is so fast. Strong, kill-power, fast and heavy. Seeing Cloud taking stocks is annoying.

Watch the last game between shadic and kola. Kola lost because he wiffed a counter. It’s too risky to use against high level play.
