Excellent stuff!I recently made my wolfhowl barb for ubers. Beast in offhand is amazing! With 1 point in berserk and frenzy you can get around a lot faster without needing tp and you can clear stoneskin and physical in a snap. Since there are so many extra points for skills maxing out increased stamina will give frenzy a 14 sec buff duration. With enigma, frenzy, and feral rage active his move speed is 273%. My fav merc is a5 with an arreats helm, treachery armor, plague sword, and lastwish. Does a barb make better werewolf than druids?
Ya decided to make this video because some awesome viewers were talking/asking about in on stream, must have be you and some other peeps. Thanks for watching vids and streams BTW.
It's just not something I ever pay attention to, so I do think to show it. Not an uncommon question though. Those numbers are incredibly inaccurate and leave out many things that effect DPS and even straight leave out certain damage. I even heard people referring to that as "the character screen lies". A builds visible kill speed is my most important metric IMO.
If interested check the description. Like a year ago I made a budget build version. No high runes needed. Obviously it will be less powerful but still can work reasonably solid.
Not using Reaper’s Toll on your mercenary is a troll. The rare ring can easily have flat attack rating and percentage attack rating. Pretty meh ring choice. EDIT: So many butthurt babies in the comments that don’t understand optimal play. Prioritizing being able to maximize Find Item on an already slow character (since you’re not in human form and can’t teleport at 200% FCR, let alone at all in wolf form) is laughably wrong. Good luck when you come across an enemy that’s Stone Skin. Skipping it on such a slow build or having to take the tedious amount of time it takes to swap out of wolf form and use Berserk is just so meh.
@Phil - You almost found the Sweet spot for this build but you forgot something. You need to carry your Arreat's with you as well; After you do you normal buffs and go into werewolf you can put on your Arreat's and easily get your 75 Resistance. I would actually recommend anyone that plays berserker to carry the wolfhowl with them and go back and forth. In heavy traffic areas you take zero damage than you can hop out and quickly finish anything that is stone skin with Berserk. Rebuff with the wolfhowl and than swap back to Arreats. (Somehow the Werewolf's special still goes off even when just doing normal attacks and you never lose a drop of health) Try it out.
I am against all gear swapping in any by build. Only exception being some crazy budget uber farmers I guess. When already doing things like 30-60 second Trav runs, highly against spending 5-7 extra seconds swapping gear around and doing extra buffs. Depending on what I was running sometimes I would even forgo the CTA buffs. So I just put my builds together to my liking, Play style, and preferences. I am also lazy.

Fortitude can cast chilling armor which can cause you to break bodies.
This is a SICK build!!! I found this helmet a few months ago! I’m doing this build today!
Nice, hope you enjoy.
Fav part about D2r is the class Items like Barb Helms or Druid when i find them Unique gets exciting to see there stats
Phil got a sponsor!!! Yay!!! You’re earning your success!
I know your just messing I'm sure, but please no attacking other content creators here.
@@SweetPhil Fair, fair! I have deleted my comment as I wasn't messing. My apologies, Mr Phil.

This is what we come for, thanks Phil!

Feel so happy to see your vids sponsored, big dawg
Okay I'm interested.
What if you used beast and then metamorphosis for a helm? Would getting the marks make it better than having feral rage?
Mf 7 100psn scs with botd works well
Next video idea: Best Skill from Every Skill Tree
That thumb is excellent
Funny in one of your last videos you called it a “meme” built, I have a pvp build that wrecks in melee duels
Wonder if an act 1 faith Merc would be a good pairing with this guy
Act 1 merc is something I do need to brush up on more. So I can only say maybe. Act 2 merc though is so simple, tried, and true.
Very build! Werewolf op
I've got a similar barb werebear build using beast.
Was a lot of fun a while ago using it with an Enchant sorc.
My biggest concern with the build is being unable to cast in werewolf. Otherwise, i would have highly considered it.
Yes that is a limiting factor for sure. I view it as a small area. Trav, eldrich/shenk, ect. Trav is probably the best place for this build IMO.
I love YOUR commercials. It’s a nice touch. Seriously. It makes the commercials fun content lol
A compliment I never thought I would get thanks lol.
barb does a better ww than druid 😢
Wearwolf barb is kinda lack luster but definitely fun to play
Depends what your comparing it to and what your doing. But I agree many builds that aren't one of the 3-5 meta farmers can still be mega fun.
awesome
I subbed back when you had only a few thousand, and now you have a sponsor!
Hey Phil, how come you dont show the damage after buffs and shapeshift? :)

i have one of these helms but i have no where near enough gear to do what you are doing

I use trang belt on mine for CBF
Usually I might decide that rout, but this is a "no cost is to much" type of build.

@@SweetPhil Com'n Phil - you know that Shift-Left Click is 0.1 seconds to swap gear. Either way ima try my werewolf build in Ubers.
