    Definitely worth it.
    I maxed my limit in 20 minutes 🙃
    They literally flew and even landed near the decoy.

      I have a lot of decoys pigeon decoys that is...and the dove call..but when combined I can not seem to get those doves in! Am I doing something g wrong?

    • @BestlifeNomad
      @BestlifeNomad Год назад +1

      @Lamar Daniels not sure if your call is confusing the bird with the areal sight of a pigeon on the ground? Maybe a possibility?
      Try and use the dove decoy with tje spinner wings.
      I combine the call, the small spinners, and a full body Dove with spinning wings.
      Also, time of day? Location? & Concealment will definitely increase your odds. Hope that helps.

    Ive had my original 6 flock a flickers for at least 6 years. You just have to take care of them. Some water proofing of the electronics. If you cant take care of stuff like this dont buy these.

      Yeah you have to baby them to make them last. I’m down to 1.

    The issue with the old units is the switch. These new ones are still not perfect as the center of gravity needs to be lower. They are prone to flipping in heavy waters as I hook them into my long lines.

    Just me or do those look really unimpressive from the air. Pretty subtle motion but idk maybe it works.

      When the light hits them they amazing. It’s defiantly more subtle from the shaded side but that could be a good thing. I’m hopeful. I’ll be putting them to the test this season.

    I am wondering how the new design has held up. I bought the original flock a flicker and most of the motors sound bad and yes a couple of them are dead. I was wondering if you have heard any bad sounds that might sound as if bearings or bushings are bad from the time you have used them.

    • @PelicanBoneOutdoors
      @PelicanBoneOutdoors  Год назад

      I haven’t had issues with the motors yet. I only used them a few times last season the biggest problem I’ve seen is the shaft is so thin it keeps getting bent.

      @OttoTheWeim 10 месяцев назад +1

      I would periodically put some oil (milk Tec-1 or Lucas gun oil) on the motor shaft as I use them in brackish bay. The gen1 issue was the switch. I did a few post mortems on them and fixed a few as the switch would eventually go bad, not due to water or corrosion. So far gen 2 have faires well through a full season of diver hunting on the bay. They make a big difference. I may put some stick on lead weight on the bottom to keep them a bit more steady and ensure they are bottom heavy. They did handle being flipped upside down and running that way for a while in the spread though so hopefully they will last longer than gen 1

    Excellent video. Which brand/model is your drone? What is your drone's range?

      Thanks!! Drone in the DJI AIR. range is pretty decent as long as you have line of sight.

    I will say don’t throw them in shallow water I’ve had mine hit bottom and bend the shaft and they wouldn’t spin
