    Your first swing was 305/335 with zero warm up…. And the fitters notes said it was 300/330..? Odd…. You should have swung your current stick a few times after being fully warmed up…

      @@tylervermeer2183 at 1:45 they show the baseline numbers with his driver. If you compare them to the fitting, he lost 2 yards carry. If he was going to fudge the numbers, they should have used a different swing from the 20 minute warmup

    • @BeyondGolfPerformance
      @BeyondGolfPerformance  Месяц назад +2

      To clarify we were comparing averages so this includes warmup shots beforehand. Yes I definitely smacked the crap out of my old driver on that one shot but overall I saw gains.

    • @chrisdee7288
      @chrisdee7288 Месяц назад +2

      @@BeyondGolfPerformance the way it’s edited suggests you took one swing with the old driver and that was the baseline. Your summary at 1:45 backs that up. It’s a bit confusing if it’s averages.

    Imagine being a 300 carry?! My furthest drive was 310, maybe one day I get there. Just started again after a 15 year hiatus. Been hitting pretty damn good and now working on shot shaping and maximizing my distance. Totally addicted to this game again

    Great look at the new Titleist line up and fitting process! A bit of a shame we didn't get to see the GT4 and the way they can change the weighting to alter the forgiveness of the club. Also, what balls were you using? It is hard to see on the video, but I'm assuming if it is a titleist fitting they were ProV's of some sort. Did they ask before the fitting what balls you usually use and match them up?

      Hey Adam thanks for watching. I loved the experience I got with Tyler and the Titleist Fitting Team. Although we didn't try out the GT4 in this video I was fit into the best possible combo for my needs. If we did another video going even more in depth between all the options would that interest you? We did use ProV1s for the fitting and yes Tyler and I talked about what ball I typically use as well. A ball fitting video is in the works!

    This fitter is poor at best. He literally said ball speed was 5-10 yards per mph…? So he should be hitting it somewhere between 600-1100 yards.. literally has no idea what he’s doing

      I’m really not. Throughout the fitting process was I noticed we got high ball speed from the G3 driver head and shaft combo. Once I get the driver I’m definitely going to try the G3 head with my Autoflex and compare the stats. Remember there are multiple combinations that you can create to either add distance or increase control with your clubs.

    Guys it’s not about the driver anymore! When you stop worrying about the driver and start worrying about your wedges and your putter, that’s what you really start to takeoff. They’ve already maximize the technology. It’s just at this point.

    • @BeyondGolfPerformance
      @BeyondGolfPerformance  Месяц назад

      Personally I love working on wedges and putting more than full swing technique. It is definitely the first thing that goes for me.

      They are F greedy companies. Everyone already has the right shafts. They need to sell HEAD ONLY options so that we can save $150.

    It's scary to see other companies and their protocols of fittings. Titleist is way behind other companies with their fitting technologies. Callaway Fits, Mizuno's Custom Fit, Wilson Fit are taking all the guesswork and multiple shaft switches out of fittings. Also 1 mph ball speed = 2 yards.

    • @BeyondGolfPerformance
      @BeyondGolfPerformance  Месяц назад

      When you get to a certain skill level and higher speeds we find that trying out multiple shafts can really polish up what the player is looking for with their game.
