Brittany Force wins in Las Vegas

- In a championship quad that also included four-time defending world champ Steve Torrence, Tony Schumacher and Antron Brown, Force went 3.718-seconds at 338.00 mph in her 11,000-horsepower Monster Energy dragster to pick up her first win this season and 12th in her career. Force, who finished second in the opening round quad and won in the second round, also picked up her first four-wide victory in Vegas and became the fourth different winner in four races in Top Fuel.

Brittany it is good for you to win here I remember when you were in Supercomp back in the day you got your first win here in Supercomp now you got your first win at Vegas in Top Fuel talk about a milestone.

I really don’t like this 4-wide racing. The spectator gets screwed out of a round of racing ...
But a shorter day at the track. Don't get cooked in the sun. Exciting when in less than 4 seconds any of 4 cars can win it.

Yeah, but you gain an extra qualifying session! I would not go to another 4-wide, but I will watch with interest....it is intense! Brit had to outrun 7 other drivers, including Torrence 3 times to win that race. In a 2 wide race, you only have to beat 4 other drivers. Both formats have their place......
Hard to read passes...One car doing one thing while another is doing something spectacular while [oh' schitt, I missed that busy looking at so&so smoke the tires in lane four ].
For what they charge for admission, The fans should have some input into what want to see, Not a bunch of rejects that couldn't make it in the corporate world.

I agree, I've been going to big meets since 1972, it's hard enough to watch two fuel cars let alone four and now they only go 1000'. As far as the sun goes, there is absolutely no reason why the stands aren't covered. Even the Romans were smart enough to cover the Coliseum. Fairgrounds all across the country have grandstands covered for a day at the horse races.More than half of the drag race attendees spend most of the day underneath the stands and miss all the great racing from the other classes. I'll see you at the next two wide, real drag racing.

So happy for the fastest girl on the planet.
Well technically the late Jessi Combs went 522mph all time world record in a Jet powered car on the salt flats. She broke the record by 40mph that was set over 40years ago.
She was also named the "fastest woman on four wheels" in 2013 when she set a race record of 398 mph at the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger.
But....338mph within 1000ft is just as incredible if not more.
