- Part III. I certainly didn’t expect the last video of the “Crimson 1 vs. Mihaly” series to be the first video of 2024, but here we are. Coincidentally, today's also the birthday of this channel.
More importantly, I never imagined that it would take nearly five months to make this video. Part III has knocked Part II off the throne for the longest and biggest “Mihaly vs.” video that I have ever made. With a runtime of 16 minutes and a staggering file size of 347GB, I’m genuinely shocked that my computer did not reach the surface temperature of Prospero during “Consequence of Power”.
On another note, I do want to acknowledge that I am not a fan of rewriting/remolding the events of one game into another, but in order for the narrative of this small series to make somewhat sense, I had to do it. As a result, I did the best I could for the first four minutes of the video and proceeded to put all my effort and time into the actual gameplay, cinematography, and editing, which is where I believe the video shines. Despite my skepticism for the writing, I’m still excited for everyone to see the final installment.

I loved the ending, the Prez and Diplomat appearing out of nowhere and Monarch being Trigger's WSO

Honestly trigger and monarch being in the same plane is basically unstoppable, unlike prez, monarch can easily match Trigger's way of flying

Okay Phantom, I gotta say you really outdid yourself with this one! The unique dialogue between Crimson and Mihaly was excellent, seeing the PW MK1 take on the X02 Strike Wyvern was amazing, and the ending was just the icing on the cake. I had only just came across your channel in 2023, but seeing your content reignited my love for the Ace Combat franchise. I look forward to your future projects, but for now, I think it's best you perhaps take a break. You deserve it after making this masterpiece.

The most ambitious crossover of all time
As the originator of the Crimson Navy SEAL copypasta, I can confidently say that the usage of it in here made me laugh.
The comedy of it (at least to me) is because Crimson is the type of character to actually, unironically say it. Frankly I never expected Erusia (C1's VA) to actually voice it, but goddamn am I glad he did.

In crimson 1's defense mihaly wanted pure chaos so he can keep his wings.
Crimson 1's methods of being a peacekeeper was on the spot like mobius 1 (closest character i can think of that because he worked for IUN PKF) however crimson 1 went nuts at the end.
Mihaly unleashed pure chaos upon earth so he could keep his wings, Crimson ended the world because a mute mercenary hurt his feelings

If the damn feds didn't cordiumthe shit out of cascadia he and his squadron probably wouldn't be sent to prospero or even if they did they probably could've retreated before monarch finished the job. Crimson went insane wasn't just because some Merc hurt his feelings, he literally crashed, had all of his closest friends and colleagues killed over 3 missions, and had probably had massive survivor guilt and went insane. Although the presidian disaster was entirely his fault, but at least it caused the end of the feds and showed the world how fucked up they are. He died fighting for what he believe was the cause of the entire thing, which monarch was.

2: Cascadia brought both the Second Calamity and Presidian Disaster upon itself by invading the Federation when they already had it's back against the wall with their so-called "independence war." They left the Federation and Crimson 1 no choice.
The writing was good enough to make it make sense, and a few of Crimson's lines hit particularly hard, but the cinematics from 4:05 onward were what really made this. I was slightly disappointed that there was no infinite missile spam, but "lore accurate" C1 would probably be more than poor Mihaly could handle. My absolute favorite part was the "Crimson Snaps Again" exchange. I also appreciated Shilage Castle taking two hits rather than one. Felt more personal that way. This was a good way to start the year.
I appreciate the feedback man! It was honestly hard to decide which special weapon to use because they're all so OP. The BML-U (ADMM) is just relentless and would end any fight in a matter of seconds, while the railgun has a lock-on for some reason. But out of those two, the railgun was the clearer option because who wouldn't love a battle of railguns? As for the nukes, that was the only way to stay closer to lore-accurate Crimson 1. But all in all, thanks for watching! :)

The way Crimson-1 is portrayed here, feels like he is willing to become a demon, willing to become a wanted criminal, just to exterminate the ones who killed his crew.
So crimson 1 finally got what he wanted & just did a legger..... he looks like miserable not celebrating & saying " predictable " what a complicated guy.
Yep, the intention was to show how nothing really changes when you get what you want. I know "Predictable" is one of his memorable and memeable dialogues but I felt it wouldn't make sense if I included it in this last battle, because Mihaly was anything but predictable.

I think Idea of adf 11F (munin and hugin) containing awareness of diplomat and prez is really nice. And If we take that this way it is really possible to them loosing their mind since they wake up in machine and they no longer have human body and they are trapped in enemy war machine like fergus or wyatt from wolfstein the new order.

Maybe he just need a break from all he went through he deserves some vacations he had enough for now.
Here's an idea. Having heard Mihaly's words before he crashed, Crimson 1 returns to the Federation and begins to reflect on how he like Mihaly lost sight of what he was fighting for. Later during their fight against the Arsenal Bird, Crimson 1 joins the allied forces as he would rather be remembered as a peacekeeper instead of a vengeful monster and aids in bringing down the Arsenal Bird. Once the two ADF 11 drones show up, Crimson 1 stays behind to give the allied forces time to retreat and regroup. He gives all that he has against the drones, but is ultimately shot down. Before he falls, he leaves one final message to Trigger: "Three Strikes, when you hear the thunder, when the storm comes for you. Remember me." With those final words, Crimson 1's plane explodes off in the distance. Sacrificing himself, and being remembered as a peacekeeper.
Finally my dream came true, I'm not crazy
