I just want to point at the fact (three years later) that he zapped me right on my nipple. No sensitive area my ass! Thanks for all the support guys. Unfortunately Zap and Spray is no longer an entity, but I still highly recommend you get yourself one! Self defense is imperative.

Spray is significantly more effective than a stun gun. I will say it is also significantly more difficult to use without harming yourself. You need to make sure when you're using it you're upwind, things like that. If you do choose the spray I would recommend watching some videos on how to properly use it.

Really helpful. I just purchased my own stun gun and pepper spray as I sometimes have to walk home from work at night and occasionally get hassled by guys . I was a little worried about potentially stunning myself but your vid gave me great tips.
does it work for pitibulls, mountain lion, bear?
@@tutsecret499 It does work for dogs, but it will require you to get close to the dog (not the best idea). They are not useful for other animals like mountain lions or bears.
If you’re looking to defend yourself from animals, I would recommend a firearm.
Pepper spray is effective against animals.

It does not produce 10 million volts. Probably somewhere between 25kv and 50kv.
Using a CEW such as a taser or stun gun in areas such as the head, neck, face, groin, or chest area around the heart constitutes DEADLY FORCE on par with the use of firearms, under several applicable court rulings. Meaning, you'd better be able to justify the use of gun before you apply this kind of weapon this way.

I was playing with my stun gun once and after I though the charge had left I touched one of the prongs and few half a second I felt it shoot all the way up my arm, from a half second touch. I couldn't imagine getting the full force for a few seconds.'

The shock isn’t going to run across his entire body, it only focuses on the point of contact between the stun gun and your assailant. The shirt has nothing to do with it.
The only way you’d get shocked is if you weren’t properly prepared and they were able to turn it against you or you somehow managed to make contact with yourself.
