2024 and started rewatching.. 9/10 and Rose just can’t compare. Truly “the stuff of legend” and this video is literally the best I have seen. Been coming back to it to have a good cry for like 10 years now. Can usually make it until 10 screaming at the Daleks to just take him… ugh my heart. Thank you thank you thank you for this video
David played the Doctor too humane that his pain is not something ‘funnily tragic’ - just PURE TRADEGY RUNS IN HIS EYES AND MAKES THE DOCTOR WHO ACTUALLY HUMANE AND IMPACTFUL

2021 checking in and sobbing all the while… It recently occurred to me that there was probably a massive wealth of TenRose fanfiction in existence, so for the past two weeks, that’s pretty much occupied all of my free time. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to filling the TenRose-shaped void in my soul (unless BBC gets their shit together and makes a Metacrisis Doctor+Rose spin-off)
Even after all these years this still reduces me to tears. Seduff you are a remarkable person to create this video which is perfect and symbolises the love that The Doctor and Rose had for each other. Thank you.

Headcanon: You ever notice that the Doctor rarely wears that blue suit, and only after Doomsday when he and Rose are separated? It's because blue is the color of mourning on Gallifrey. In the first episode of series 3, Smith and Jones, the Doctor wears the blue suit for the first time. (The events of Runaway Bride happened seconds after the Doctor and Rose's goodbye, not enough time to blink, much less process events or change clothes.) It his first proper day without his Rose, the woman that meant everything. His first proper day to mourn his loss in the way he knows how. And everyday after, whenever his grief becomes too much for him, instead of emotionally or vocally expressing it, he succumbs to the lost traditions of his people, and silently dons his blue suit, in loving memory of the Wolf that loved him more than life itself.
Still one of my favorite videos. Never fails to draw tears from my eyes and feel that heart wrenching feeling inside.

this is the best doctor and Rose video i've ever seen! it shows how much he changes when he loses Rose and how he always feels she's around the corner then he looks up and she's gone. it's beautiful! stunning! when you hear her talking about dying in battle and he's walking though all those flames and when he hears footsteps and she comes through the door, but then she just fades away! this is incredible, the first time i saw it, it made me cry but now i watch it more then three times every day.

That song is one of the most overused on the planet. That said, the universe must not be tired of it yet because it was the most PERFECT song to use for them. Oh my god that was just beautiful.. Never though I was going to love Doctor Who so much, I watched for the first time a few months ago and here I am.
In a way I hated that eleven didn't have such a sadness after Amy left, he just kinda went on to the next companion in one episode, without looking back. (Even though there was an undated distance of time between Amy and Clara in which he probably mourned a lot, you could never really see it onscreen.)
+Greyard white There was a bit of time cause he lived on that cloud in Victorian England for quite a while judging by how the Paternoster Gang were worried about him. It was covered a bit in the Christmas Episode with Clara.
Annie Brewer I know, but with Tennant it was a very big theme throughout his time, while with Smith it wasn't, which kinda annoys me.
+Greyard white Yeah they barely mentioned in with Eleven, and then it was like "oh, I've got a mystery girl" and he was off and running. Nothing like Ten handled it at all.

Yeah but he was in love with Rose... Plus the show runner changed and looks like Moffat doesn't like this kind of stuff... that's why I always say that S1-4 had the more heart and emotion.

Besides using scenes that many usually don't, the transitions were quite smooth and the whole video was absolutely touching! I have never seen a video that has gotten such a reaction from me and that's saying something because there are a lot of wonderfully creative people here. The energy behind it, the cuts to the music, the overlay of the audio in all the right places - the way it ebbs and flows to the words and movement of the music - there are no words.
