What Science ACTUALLY Says About BPC 157 Benefits
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 19 сен 2024
- BPC 157, a synthetic peptide derived from stomach acid protein, holds potential in tissue regeneration, improving blood flow, and reducing inflammation, as demonstrated in animal studies. However, its effectiveness and safety in humans remain unproven due to the lack of rigorous clinical trials. The only human study found was small and inconclusive, making it difficult to ascertain BPC 157's true benefits. Despite its promising attributes, concerns about its unregulated status, the absence of FDA approval, and the lack of evidence confirming its safety in humans make it a risky choice. Furthermore, BPC 157 is listed as a prohibited substance by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and the USADA emphasizes its unapproved status and the speculative nature of its benefits. Consequently, while acknowledging BPC 157's potential, its use is not recommended due to these significant uncertainties and risks. Alternative supplements with more established benefits are suggested for improving musculoskeletal health.

I had 2 herniated discs, L4-L5 & L5-S1. Both putting pressure on nerves and causing massive nerve pain down my left leg. After two weeks on bpc-157, it’s all completely gone and I can live my life again like a normal person. It has absolutely blown my mind. I have even started lifting weights again and am more fit than I have ever been.
Hello. Very happy to hear this has helped you. I have a similar issue with L4/5. What company did you purchase this from? Did you inject this close to the area of pain? Mine is in my upper glute area on my right side. Should I inject within that area? Totally new to this but am willing to try anything at this point. Please get back to me when you can. Thanks
@@paulbennoit7493 since I’m in Texas, I use Ways2Well, they’re incredible. Some people claim that injecting near the actual injury will increase efficacy, but what I have heard more is that location doesn’t really matter. I injected once a day subcutaneously in my belly fat. After about 2 weeks of doing that, my nerve pain vanished and my back pain started subsiding. Now I’m on week four and am about done with my supply and I have no back pain at all. I lived for the past two years with massive amounts of pain. I couldn’t sit on the couch, lay in bed, drive my car, or doing pretty much anything without being in pain. And now it’s all gone, which blows my damn mind! This stuff worked amazingly well for me!

The fda, didn't get paid to approve of bpc-157.
Because the fda is 90% funded by big pharma
The problem is it can’t be trademarked since it’s naturally occurring
@@121476 Alsoproblem being - if it fixes you, then you no longer need expensive treatment
Yeah, it’s in the name Food and Drug Administration, they don’t make $ on healthy people. Funny how there is no clinical trials on humans now isn’t it
It was working too well, so let’s stop all the clinical trials to have the excuse there isn’t enough clinical trials to show it’s safe in humans laugh😂
Here is the revised version with your additions:
As a board-certified physician and fellowship-trained specialist in Functional and Regenerative Medicine, I will state succinctly: it is correct that human data is lacking, and knowing where to source these treatments is of utmost importance to prevent harm. This is why our specialty and knowledge of sterile compounding and trusted pharmacies are crucial when seeking this treatment. The same paper you cited on the human clinical trial will soon publish another one, a placebo-controlled trial in humans, given it has passed phase 1 safety trials. With more than 100,000 doses prescribed without significant impairments and a lot of positive feedback, we expect to see some incredible results. These have been used for years without significant detriment because, after all, these are natural chains of amino acids intended to signal healing pathways in the body, unless sourced improperly.
And that's why it's important to realize that doping agencies don't ban it for performance-enhancing reasons. We have mounds of positive anecdotal evidence assuming the compound is as advertised (BPC-157 and not just bacteriostatic water or tren or something) which provides an incredibly solid basis for further research.
It's crucial to note that doping agencies are not commenting on performance enhancement, but scientific validity and reliability. The biggest problem is that these agencies are focused on "proving" compounds are performance enhancing and therefore bad, and not focused whatsoever on peptides that could potentially have a major positive impact on healing and quality of life.
Look, let me tell you BPC 157, and TB 500 are amazing they work just like they’re towed to work. I’m a Powerlifter have been training for more than 30 years and let me tell you if I would’ve known about this stuff years ago I would’ve used it. My buddy in Airborne school had a collision with another jumper in the air causing his parachute to have a total failure 100-ish feet off the ground. He fell that last 100 feet with zero canopy above him. He survived, with surprisingly minimal injuries considering the way he got the injury. However he fractured both heels, and worse, fractured a vertebrae in his back. He started taking BPC-157 and he was back to running, training, and even deadlifting within a couple months. Given that its not allowed in the military he didnt tell the doctors, and they were shocked by how fast and how well his back healed.

Question, if BPC-157 hasnt been studied enough on humans through trials then why would it already be banned by the World Doping Agency? What information did they use to determine that it needs to be banned?
I am not sure that the standard for banning a substance is that it is harmful to humans. I would think they ban a substance because it improves performance in a way that they consider unfair in a sporting context.

Peptides are definitely becoming more popular because people with health issues are looking for alternatives to improve their conditions. Some are worth looking at, such as 157, and although the FDA hasn't approved it yet, it may be worth trying out. We all know cigarrettes cause disease and addiction but they're still available for distribution and purchase. Like all medicine, just do your research and understand the benefits and side effects.
Thanks for the info, I'd like to see more on peptides.
Yup, I think it's promising and I too would love to see more data
Hard to do your own research, if the professionals are not doing the research themselves. All anecdotal until they do release proper human studies of a significant size.

From what I read in the animal studies, the healing effects of BPC-157 were essentially the same whether it was given by injection or orally. Swallowing a capsule with liquid once or twice a day seems a lot easier and safer to me than mixing BPC with sterile solution and injecting it on the same schedule.
I'm in the U.S. and I've used capsules from Infiniwell and the tb-500 website with seemingly good results.

Completely anecdotal. I have patellar tendinitis I’ve been dealing with for a year. I had an acute injury to set it off, and a similar injury occurred about a month ago.
I’m doing the same PT exercises as I did the first time. This time around, I’m using 200mcg BPC157 & 200mcg TB500 each day. It’s been a few weeks, and it has seemed to work for me. My knee is better than it’s been in a LONG time. I’ve made the same progress in 3 weeks using this peptide that I did in 3 months following my first injury.
I also had a nagging shoulder pain from bench press that had been going on for a couple months. It disappeared a week into using BPC without me doing anything at all to help it 😂
That being said, there definitely needs to be more research into potential side effects. I’ll let you guys know if I get cancer!
Great to hear you have positive result. Would you mind letting us know where is a reliable source for this supplement?
Hey how has it been so far? I also have patellar tendinitis for 8 years now and I believe my tendon has degraded to a point that PT isn’t doing much for me. I want to try BPC but I’m a little worried about the lack of human studies and a few stories about people experiencing really bad side effects.

Thank you Dr. Peng for the always informative videos. I appreciate your thoroughness on every topic.
Glad you like them!
Yes, your conclusion concerning safety is warranted; however, compounding pharmacies were providing prescriptions for this for over a decade before the FDA pulled it from their shelves. Here in DC, oncologists were prescribing it to their chemo therapy patients and anti-aging clinics. In short, millions of people have used this and claim a benefit.
Does it cause blood flow to tumors or cancers?
@susan4789 that was a hypothetical hypothesis made by some scientists, but to date there is no evidence of that. It has actually shown anti cancer properties in vitro testing.
I am doing a stack of BPC-157 and TB-500, 750 mcg/day, to treat persistent tendonitis in both of my forearms that I've had for 7 months. After 2 weeks, the verdict is still out for me. My arms do feel better than they have in a while, but I am also doing a lot of physiotherapy and really taking it easy at jiu jitsu class. I wasn't expecting much in 2 weeks, but I am hopeful - I have enough for 4 more weeks of treatment.
What's your current condition bro ? I'm suffering from the same in both forearms exactly where biceps and forearms meet.
I’m taking it for back problem after surgery. No actual help from medical doctors for improving healing environment. PT and diet alone have little effect for me. Makes no sense to resort to a potential cancer enhancing peptide but pain and function are motivating the risk taking. Thank you for the warning.
Everything I’ve read on research about this, shows anti cancer properties. Needs human research, but it’s not going to happen. Think they already know it might make people heal themselves and then they’re screwed. No poorly people, no multi billion business anymore. From what I read it cannot be patented either. Naturally occurs already in your gut. Your body uses it to heal the gut rapidity after gastric damage. So helps reduce stomach and associated cancers, ulcers and inflammation. It’s anti inflammatory capabilities reduce cancer risk, as this is a main cause of damaged cells in the body.
BPC-157 doesn't cause cancer. It may accelerate cancer if you already have it, but in that case you're screwed anyway.
They always say these things cause cancer, a study was done on rats 5-6 years ago where they gave the rats 1mg daily for 6 months and 6-7 of the 20 rats developed tumours. I mean a rat is 1/200th of the weight of a human lol that’s like us taking 200mg daily 😂😂😂 50

MD's are essentially trained pushers for pharmaceutical corporations who place profit and greed above actual healing and helping. Course the majority of MD's will not sanction, let alone recommend, non patentable, inexpensive, and highly effective peptides.
In fact, the pharmaceutical corporations want the public to not have easy and inexpensive access to them.
Where the military industrial complex (made up of mostly corporations in cahoots with intelligence agencies and politicians) wants endless war for the profit, resource control, etc, the pharmaceutical corporations want endless sickness, especially in the form of chronic, long term type, for maximum profit. They don't want people to outright die quickly, but to be/become dependent of drugs and treatments that only they can provide.
They are run by people on the ASPD spectrum (formerly labeled psychopaths and sociopaths).

Should you cycle it?
Why aren’t there human studies yet ? Doesn’t make sense
Need to start with animal studies to ensure safety.
they cant patent peptides. they dont want you to use peptides. there is no money in it for them...
but there have been animal studies on it for decades (with quite amazing results)@@JeffreyPengMD
Because it would Prove how effective it Is and people could start healing and getting off other “drugs” they call medication (ex: opioids and auto immune medications)
I just began taking orally one pill of bpc-157 from brawn nutrition daily. Will let you all know if I grow a second head or third limb.
oral gets destroyed in the liver 1 pass. Lingual is more effective
How's it going?
@@MJBox19he ded
so?
nah still alive, but tbh haven't really noticed any changes. Certainly no changes to any injury related muscle pains or inflammation. Maybe a tiny bit of improvement with gut flora, but if so, it's so faint I might be making it up in my head. Im guessing for muscle healing injectables are probably the way to go, as I'm not going to bother buying another round of pills.
Is this good for hypermobility chronic pain in elbows, forearms, heels , hands and wrists?
If they say no reason to use it, that means it works and it will take money away from them

I use bpc 157 for my torn shoulder labrum and it has helped so much. I believe that it works. I went from benching 295 before the tear to barely being and to lift 135,6 months later I'm benching 315 with nearly no shoulder pain.
hey man, I have a torn labrum as well, would love to hear how its doing!!!
Just got some BPC today!!!
Thanks
@@JoseTaboraJr. Very good actually. Used it for 7 months and it feels mostly healed
@@AMac1978 Was it a partial or total tear?
@@JoseTaboraJr. Partial. I wasn't able to bench heavy before because of pain and now I can bench 305 for reps.
@@AMac1978 I have a partial tare I’ve done everything it’s really exhausting. How many mg are you taking!?
Why in the world is there no clinical trial on this? I heard about this first in 2015 and have used it several times with great succes. Its a scandal😢
Really where did u get it from
I just had surgery and need healing. I had my first rib removed and have bone/nerve/muscle damage because of it. I used to be so active but now I can barely use my right arm at all because of the pain and weakness. Is BPC157 a good option for me? Ive tried EVERYTHING. If so, where should I buy it??
Aminoasylum
Try it, you don't have much to lose.
BPC 157 has no side effects that I've ever heard of and the benefits are wild, almost super human healing occurs, it completely healed my chronic back pain. I went to a "health optimization specialist" to get it, and purchased 5 weeks worth of injections for $280
Absolutely, and Peptide Science. Just my opinion...
Do recommend taking bpc157 closer to bedtime to work with the bodies natural healing during sleep?
I'm a non responder. Tried it several times. Nothing.
Great video, just saved me from spending $200. Trying to find a solution (besides rest) to heal my groins (high level Hockey player here) been dealing with it for 3 months now i get 1 game from ever 3-4 days of rest. I took a full 3 weeks off a month or so ago and felt better but by my third game in a week they pulled again. Been trying to strenghten but everyday i choose to do that im out for 3-4 days again and would rather use it on a game. Very annoying situation...
Great video. This is the conclusion I’ve come to after one of my viewers suggested I look into it. I really hope we get some more research but until then I just don’t feel comfortable using it yet.
It cannot be patented so there will be no study, only bans.
@@jesselau8698Well, that is NOT true. There must be real scientific studies, prior to govmt approval, so it will be studied.
@@Machria23 Drug and Pharma companies only research patented synthetic drugs because they can’t make billions any other way. They fund all research. So it won’t be researched because it could lose them their business all together. This peptide has been found to heal cancer and stop brain disease like dementia and ms. Many people don’t understand how the medical industry works. Covid was just a fine example of how they do and what power they have to force what drug they want into people and what drug they don’t. If everyone cured themselves. Boom they’re out of buisness. 24 years in the medical industry opens your eyes
So they are ok with forcing people to take un-tested shots for covid, but something that shows promise they want more testing..ya, got it.
@@Machria23the FDA is actively trying to block any BPC 157 studies and permanently ban it from being used after it was widely used by millions of people for at least two decades
Who trust Usada or the fda? I don’t.
I'm no fan of the feds, but trusting random retailers online that have every incentive to lie doesn't seem like a smart move either.

Thank you, I learned a lot.
You're welcome!
Does anyone know if this helps with broken bones at all? Have a broken jaw just got back from surgery and wondering where I can find research on whether it’s worth it
Legal again in Georgia? How'd that happen?
I got arthritis on thumb hand joint for a month, after 1 shot bpc 157 it just gone no more pain
I thought it was banned by the FDA in November 2023?
Really?? Why? Do you know the reason?
Banned because Big Pharma has money to buy political powers. If you take BPC 157 you won't need to need to spend hundreds and thousands on medical costs so they got to the FDA. Once the supply is gone, the pharmacies are not allowed to produce any more with limited exceptions.@@N3dita
I've used BPC157 with TB500 from Swisschems when I injured by shoulder and I can say that I heal a lot faster than not using these peptides

I had issue with my tendon in bizeps for month. After I started with BPC 157 after 3 Days it started getting better... After 6 Days all pain gone and I can train normally again. Dosage was 500mcg a day right before sleeping.
The Big Question…
Why there are no human studies?
Jeff, you need to start taking some of these 'supplements' - get those biceps up a bit!
It works and it works a while. There’s a reason why there hasn’t been any human testing because it actually is so efficient they don’t want it to become an active used drug.
Quote: nobody knows if it's safe for use or when the correct doses when probably thousands and thousands of people have used it And there is for sure a basic understanding of how much is okay or maybe too much...
I wonder if this will help with my ulcerative colitis
Does it help ?
i think it could. remember, bpc 157 comes from gastric juice. but you should probably take it in capsule form for this particular problem. cheers
Yes in tablet form. It will cure it.
Amazing you can buy this for $50 online and doctors will be missing out on expensive MRI's, surgeries, and pain pill prescriptions. It's clear when the FDA has been paid off
You can buy a 10 vial kit from china for 40 bucks. Where do you think all these peptide sotes are getting it from?
I'm recovering from a near fatal hit-and-run accident that was a head-on collision where I Flatline twice and they were about to sign my death certificate at the scene. I've been trying to put myself back together on my own because I don't like the doctor's options cuz they basically want me to collect a check end up in a wheelchair and stare at the ceiling for the rest of my life and stay bedridden Tom willing to try the bpc 157 and possibly TV 500 in several areas of my body I still have torn tendons and fractures they never healed because there was never surgery done because of covid lockdown and a bunch of other stuff does anyone know of any reputable companies to get the injectable for the oral in the US ? Hopefully something that won't break the bank because I'm probably going to have to buy a lot of it there's a lot of areas to cover from broken neck from messed up back to two torn rotator cuffs torn tendons on my arms shattered femurs and of course the guy who hit me had no insurance and the guy who owned the car that he was driving had no insurance I'm basically almost bankrupt from the accident
How does someone sign up for the study?
I’ve had chronic neck pain for 2 years and knee pain I’m 19 that shit doesn’t heal over time
This the same establishment that screamed safe and effective that are now afraid of safety issues? No thanks, I’ll trust my instincts.
Are these conclusions based on just reading abstracts of studies?
I have never heard of something that actually heals you be supported. And here we are again.
I've been reading lots of papers about the rat studies, it seems really promising for human use (especially coupled with the anecdotal evidence). I know clinical trails cost money and recruiting for human trails is hard..but with the possible benefits of BPC 157 seemingly being huge why is there such a lack of human research?
It seems super odd to me that something that could be so useful and seemingly so promising has very little human research and very little negative side effects in the research....any thoughts on this?
Does this work for acid reflux and esophagus?
Yes
The real question is if it lowers troponin
Looks like the FDA has cracked down and now it's not available from most clinics.
Fda is culprit here
Is this good for gastritis if taken orally?
Yes it's exactly what gut produces to heal the gut.
