Damn can’t believe your channel doesn’t have 100s of thousands subs! Love the behind the scenes. Definitely interested in how you started out shooting for the nfl
Great video. Trying to get a realistic idea of edit turnaround time; do you only do the quick edits on your phone before turning over (via slack) to editing team/social media? Or is the quick edit the final edit?
First time watching and this is literally what I want to do. This shit is too clean and crisp keep rockin bro. Any advice on how to start? School? Networking?
How are you able to use these? I also shoot NFL (and most other leagues) for last 15yrs+ and use of editorial only photos in this manner isn't typically authorized. Just curious as I have wanted to use mine similarly..
Hey man I’m a senior in high school trying to become a sports photographer how do I eventually work for the nfl or a specific team I would please appreciate it some help or tips
@@joeypusateri_ thank you , once I get out of high school what’s the next steps like how did you get the job of shooting for the NFL and how much is the pay like is it possible to be your full time job ?
@@MrtopJRMrTopFrom someone that has done this for over 15yrs...I'd say it's VERY difficult to make this a career. You might make it work as a single young person, but hardly any colleagues of mine are sports photographers only. These days (as the video mentions), it's a commodity and everyone is willing to do it for free. Most are freelancers and not full-time. Just trying to be real...don't let me discourage you...
@@MrtopJRMrTop Absolutely they do.. Social media is a big thing with the younger gen and pro teams. But trust me, they aren't "Making a living" doing it. Even full-time team photogs aren't making much more than a fast food salary. Regardless, Good luck! There are definitely exceptions to the norm.
Definitely keep these coming, gives us creators a inside scoop on our dream jobs
glad you enjoyed man
Can you make a video on how you became a nfl photographer it would help a lot of people
this better be a full series for the next season 🗣️🗣️ so dope!!
what do we like more? These or the breakdowns?

thanks dude!
Just comparing this to the LA Rams official photographer behind scenes. The Rams set up is insane by comparison. Yours feels more raw and authentic ❤
Appreciate that 🤘🏽
Awesome video Joey. Would love to see how you became a photographer for the NFL in general
watch the interview with John Bach!
@@joeypusateri_ Nice. I'll check it out. I just randomly was recommended that NFL vlog video and had never heard of your content before.

they will usually make some stylistic edits as well. my quick edits are usually just to make it brighter or darker

man the best way to start is to do the entire process over and over again. shoot, edit, post, repeat
appreciate it bro @@joeypusateri_
Question for you why do you plug in the sd card to your phone why don’t you connect your camera to the app on your phone and transfer them that why ?
Personally I never have consistent luck with the app. Hard writing is much faster consistently

I am part of the NFL LCC program, we are allowed to share anything after 7 days of the event
Yo I’m a 13 year old kid who wants to get into nfl photography. Any suggestions?
Filming any middle school/high school games you can just to get reps to start!
what camera/lens would u recommend for a beginner sports photographer??
the biggest think is a lens that is 200mm or more! 70-200, 70-300, something telephoto and a camera that does at least 10 fps stills
Can u do a Justin Jefferson photography film video I want to edit him
What lens are you using
24-70 + 400

building a portfolio is HUGE in the beginning. shoot any sports you can and then start meeting and DMing other photographers

@@AndrewCCM thank you for the note . But I’ve seen a lot younger generation doing stuff for the NFL so I’ll keep pushing hard to make it happen

What was the process of applying to be an NFL photographer like?
during the offseason they usually will post job opportunities and ask for your portfolio in the process
What sd card reader do you use ??
just the classic apple one!
