Jared, we really appreciate you having us out to the farm. It's great to be able to share knowledge and experiences with others doing similar things. We learned a ton about hogs and worms, and just stuff in general. We had a great time with you and your wonderful family. Anytime we can do anything for you, say the word.
We got it in the propagation yard. It still looks good, so we shall see. We did take a little hike this morning in the woods and found a couple more of them. Thanks for tipping us off on those. Once I looked at a picture of them in the fall, I knew I had them in my woods.
It's so nice that you are welcoming to other homesteaders and willing to spend some personal time with them. Way to go, J&J Acres! Wish we were closer!
We bought our first home in the suburbs last spring and gardening has really allowed us to get to know and share with our neighbors because we're always outside. Last year I watched in horror as one neighbors potted tomato plant got knocked over just about every windy day but I was too shy to give her my advice. I wasn't going to watch it happen again so I offered her a big pot, some alpaca manure we picked up for free from a nearby farm and some mulch. I also shared my recently acquired knowledge about pruning indeterminate tomatoes. I had a tomato jungle in my small garden last year! She was so very grateful for my help as I am for the help we get from my neighbors.
Nice! Thank you for the link, today they're giving a free bee bracelet if you pay shipping. So I bought a shirt! Heh Love yours but I got the plant flowers one since I don't have bees yet.
I don't know if I was aware you were in Meridian, or not (can't remember if I've heard you mention it; I may have already had this conversation...), but I went to MOS school down there at NAS Meridian, twenty-some years ago.
I wonder if you shaved or he grows a beard would you look more like twins ? :D thanks for sharing now I wonder how did i miss the pig video guess I have to go look again :)
I was going to mention the height but I have cousins who are twins and you would not know it to look at them one is not only taller but huge while the short one is tooth pick thin :)

Excellent, thanks for sharing!
Your right Jared.....the best homesteading is a sharing homestead!
If we can be willing to learn from each other we can progress much more quickly!
Oh I just love the shirt...Haha! Great one. Have a great day guys.

I was the Deputy Emergency Manager there, 9 years ago :-)
Miss your livestream as well as others
I appreciate the sentiment, but not having to be tied to producing that each week has been a big relief to us.
LOVE your shirt, Jared.
Thanks :-D I got it from protectbeestoday.com
Love knowledge sharing !
It's the best!
Agreed. Sharing is a wonderful thing.
if he grew a bit of a beard, he could pass as your twin.
#Doppleganger
If you saw us side by side you'd figure I have a form of dwarfism. He stood in a hole just so our heads would fit on the screen together.
Ha thats awesome!
Is it bad that I thought you two were brothers? :-)
It's the hat... does it every time.
If we were paternal brothers I would certainly have to look up to him - a neck craning looking up.
Lol, Good Captain Kirk and evil Captain Kirk.
Thanks for a great video.
KKKKKAAAAAAAAAAHHHHNNNNN!

A full beard is way too scratchy for me... besides, there is about a foot difference in height. I was standing in a hole. :)
Shhh, don't tell my secrets! :p

Oh... umm... nevermind.. I wasn't in a hole... more like a... lowering. :)
