  • A year into the pandemic and I still get a lot of questions about MASKE, so I decided to make this video -- I hope it's not too late!
    Here is one explaining why we get it and things you can do to minimize the risk and manage mild acne from wearing masks.
    This video serves to educate and give information about anything related to skin and skincare and shall in no way take the place of a proper consultation with an expert, such as a board-certified dermatologist.

    Thanks for this Doc, what would you prefer when choosing clindamycin, the Clindamycin SOS 1% sol roll-on in drug store or Clindamycin Solution 2% in toner form but with ethyl alcohol in its content?

    • @irenegaile
      @irenegaile  2 года назад

      I actually prefer clindamycin with benzoyl peroxide to minimize risk of bacterial resistance :) but if you were to make me choose between the two u mentioned, maybe the 2% clinda :)

    Hi doc! I recently got consultation to a dermatologist. I was given meds and treatments to put on my face. My question is he didn’t allow me to use anything on my face even sunscreen? Is this okay?
    I am using the soap, pimple treatment and pimple gel he prescribed.

    • @irenegaile

      Oh, I think it's best to ask your dermatologist -- im sure he has reasons. Its hard for me to comment without seeing you and assessing your skin and knowing your skin issues.

    Hello, Doc.
    Is it true that acnes formed from every specific parts of the face were caused by a specific problem depending on where acnes are? For example, the acne on the chin areas is caused by hormonal imbalance while acne on the forehead is caused by stress or touching the face.
    Like, is there a specific area of the face to form acne because of the certain problem that caused it?

    • @irenegaile
      @irenegaile  2 года назад

      Ive heard about that, it's called acne mapping. Im a bit on the fence about it kc most of the patients I see have lesions all over. Although most with female adult acne tend to have lesions on the jawline but hindi parin lahat.

    • @irenegaile

      I would suggest comedone extractions if allowed in your area. And a consultation for other possible treatments or additional medication. Baka need mo na kc 4 months na ung epiduo mo e.
