I really liked the show. Several updates on games I already knew I wanted that only increased my anticipation, a handful of games that look promising that I'm hearing of for the first time, a couple remasters of classic old games I always wanted to play and never got around to. I know people are rightfully dunking on sony over price gouging the ps5 pro, but I can't hold that against this lineup of pretty good looking games. Hopefully most of them make their way to PC.
The HZD remaster does have a better advantage than the TLoU remaster if they actually redo all the dialogue animations. Old ones felt like I was playing a Bethesda game in third person, they were not good and one of the highlights of the DLC and the sequel was improving them. That alone would be worth the $10 upgrade, though maybe not full price.
I wonder if Sucker Punch is returning to inFamous at some point or is that IP done? Ghost of Tsushima unfortunately didn't hit for me and I keep hoping for another inFamous...
Believe me, it's underwhelming to most people, such as myself, who have the base PS5. They are charging so much for so little with no disc drive to top it off. I hope the only people who buy it are scalpers... Even if I had money to throw away on a PS5 pro, I think I'd throw it at a Steam Deck instead..
But that’s an unreasonable comparison given how much just a 4090 gpu cost, compared to $700/780 for the PS5 Pro? (significantly more). To compare what can be achieved with a full equivalent PC a PS5 Pro is decently less costly/less expensive. Though for me I am fine sticking with my PS5 (and Switch) for the time being.
Consoles are supposed to be accessible for the general public. Once you're too into gaming you can get nerdy all that you want and ramble about specs and parts.
GVG start: 2:17
State of Play start: 11:38

Lunar 1&2 Remaster confirmed to launch on all other platform, so I'm fine ahah.
Shocked Kratos face is funny

What’s everyone’s final score for the State Of Play (1-10)?
8
8, given it had honestly a lot of games that I was interested in and release date for Monster Hunter Wilds
Between 6-7. Some genuinely surprising things and I’m looking forward to the Ghost of Tsushima sequel, but otherwise kinda standard SoP fare
0/10 no Concord 2
4. Carried by third parties and GOT2 pretty much.

The limits on the ps5 pro is underwhelming to someone that owns a 4090

The 4090 alone is double the cost of the PS5 Pro. What do you expect? 🤨
