Friday, July 4 - Cheap Trick will perform as part of Fourth of July festivities at Rotary Green on Lions Drive near Elk Grove High School Illinois. The classic rockers from Rockford - led by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson and lead singer Robin Zander - charted hits including “Surrender,” “I Want You to Want Me,” “Dream Police” and “The Flame.” And yes it’s a FREE concert.
Saw them on the campus of Georgia Tech in 1977 with Blue Oyster Cult. Loudest band I ever heard and still going strong 50 years now! Not many bands can claim that.
I was so hoping you'd get an invitation to his house or wherever he stores his collection, when you told him that you'd love to see his collection! He seems like he's as awesome as he is when he's performing onstage! 🤘
Really cool. I’ve followed Cheap Trick since I’ve been a teenager in the seventies. I’m glad to say I’ve seen them a couple times and they have been one of my favorite bands.
I spent summers in Rockford, Ill in the early 70s. We would go watch them rehearse in the garage. I've been a huge fan ever since. Question: What did it say on his sock????
Merry Christmas to you two beautiful young people ❤️❤️. Wish I would have had the nerve to approach y'all when I saw you in Memphis and got your autograph. But, anyway, God bless 🎄⛄🎄🥳🙏🎄🎁
Cheap Trick is my favorite American Rock and Roll band ever., and should be in everyone's top 10...Great people, examples of hard working Americans, and writers and performers of great Rock music
My wife worked at a Wendy's in Rockford and he came thru yhe drive thru and gave her a $2 bill as a tip when he came thru. He has been more than once so she gave me one of hers and I would love to see if he would sign it for me but I never get a chance to make it to one of his bottle signing meet and greets. I know where in Rockford he lives just have not got the guts to drive up unannounced to see if he would do it. I also rent a storage unit right next to where the band stores their audio equipment for when they tour I found out one day when I went to get something out of my unit and saw them loading a trailer for some shows
He has a great sense of humor. When he made the post on social media a few weeks ago, his post said "hey ladies, come out and meet me at ....... hey guys, you can come too, i guess.." haha
That’s a cool Explorer, I’m not really a fan of that body shape but with that color scheme, it works. They usually remind me of metal guitars, but that looks on the alternative rock side. Very cool.
HEY, ... JORDAN & KATIE & JAH. Yeah, Rick Nelson Is such an Awesome person He was cool to You and Katie That's funny I Was just watching Your old videos When you went to The NAMM guitar Shows In Jan, 2019 And you got your Van Halen record Sign by Michael Anthony Yeah the NAMM Are a few of My favorite older Videos 👍✌️🤘 Take care and Stay safe on your journeys Mark.D Barre,vt 🇺🇸
I dont drink much, so we got the vodka for some friends and family that like those kind of Celebrity liquor bottles for their bar collection. We mainly just wanted to meet him, and get him to sign a record and guitar
Imagine being remembered having all this love around you and 40 years later the only money you can get is inside of a Kroger or Wawa signing autographs kid save your money
He has one of the most expensive guitar collections in the world, and he is co-owner of the Rockford Hard Rock casino. He's not hurting for money, but your character could use some work!
What a great signing! As you said he was both genuine and really friendly - a great Christmas memory. Thanks to both of you for sharing this event.
I live in Rockford and see him once in awhile at the grocery store and gas station.
He is a really nice guy 😀
So nice to see Rick is just as nice as I’ve always heard. So glad you and Katie share these adventures with us! Happy Holidays, Jordan, Katie and Jah!

Rick is one of the nicest guys in rock music.
How cool...Rick is a living legend!
That's cool I wish they did stuff like that in my grocery store I work at
Some of my favorite songs to have performed with my old cover band from the 1980s . Rick’s licks are sick licks.
Wow. Very cool !
I can see that Rick really enjoyed meeting Katie 😂 Glad you had a nice time with him.
He has a great sense of humor. When he made the post on social media a few weeks ago, his post said "hey ladies, come out and meet me at ....... hey guys, you can come too, i guess.." haha

Very cool!

I hope he does a signing near me. I have a pick I caught at a show and a friend got me a signed boarding pass but the autograph faded over the years.
They are going to be in, Shawnee Oklahoma real soon. Were hoping we can get tickets and go.
Merry Chrisymas
So awesome!

I love Cheap Trick!
Bun E is pretty cool too!
Rock star signing in a.... supermarket. So Spinal Tap😆😂
Clean up on aisle 5!
Where better to have a liquor bottle signing? Barnes & noble?
@@DazewithJordantheLion Hmm, maybe a liquor store, for one🤔 Anyway, it does still show Rick's sense of whimsy. Which we all love him for😉👍
Cheers🥴🍺
It's interesting to see a signing in a grocery store.
Im sorry, but that cardboard cutout would be going home with me. 😅
Very cool. Way random.
How was the Vodka?

The true value of 100 cents today is about 3 cents . Save your cents. Thanks DC . Not !
Im sure he's doing just fine.
He has one of the most expensive guitar collections in the world, and he is co-owner of the Rockford Hard Rock casino. He's not hurting for money, but your character could use some work!
Love Cheap Trick too!!...just wish my favorite musicians didn't promote/endorse alcohol.
I simply refuse to buy anything addictive that these musicians promote. Sammy Hagar didn't need the money either. Or maybe he did.....
Most people wont buy an album or any music these days, so they do what they want.
