Hello, Rusty! I prefer to use motorex oil and greace.After motul, liqui moly and other oil fork seals become hard and performance not as good how I like. Maybe it was fake oils, I don't know. Yes service of R and RC models are the same. Blue knob on your fork is compression adjustment, which is missing on R version. Не понятен момент в конце, когда уже заливает масло в штаны, на видео он вроде штаны чуть поддергивает и смещает дабы масло именно в штаны попало а не по штокам в ноги? Как тогда смазывается пружина?
Масло из штанов без препятствий попадает в ногу с пружиной в виду отсутствия сальников со стороны штока (именно по этой причине, в ногу с пружиной заливается больше масла) . В ногу с пружиной 40мл, в ногу с картриджем 10мл. Если видео смотреть внимательнее, то все нюансы конструкции можно уловить, даже не зная языка.

Hello, Jorge. I think you can convert your domain R into RC by installing compression cartridge. I have no any guarantee but I think these forks are the one fork with or without compression cartridge.

Spring change is pretty simple. All you need is open upper cap on leg which has no adjustments on upper and lower side ( this is spring leg) Other leg which has adjustments is cartridge leg and contains oil, not a spring. I hope this information will help you! P.S. I have no this fork for now for recording videos about it. Sorry.

Gidix, R or RC comes from settings which you fork has. For example if you can change rebound and compression, you have RC version. If you can change only rebound it's R version.
Yes, i mean to pry it gently. But the best way to repair your fork is to bring it to the local shop. Because all operations you will do with your fork is for your own risk, you can broke something.

Привет! Спасибо! Размер сальников верный. Эти сальники заказчик покупал в магазине специализирующимся на сальниках и подшипниках. Между сальниками и пыльниками необходимо применять густую, не агрессивную к резине смазку, например густую смазку Motorex. На свой страх и риск можно любую смазку использовать. Как вариант, можно сделать колечки из поролона и пропитать их вилочным маслом ( вместо густой смазки ). Удачи в переборке! P.S. если опыта переборки подобных вещей нет, советую быть крайне аккуратным либо обратиться к специалисту.

spring fork, uses coil and oil :3, i had it for years and i'm just 18 years old so i'm always out in city and bikeparks, bought the bike used with it mounted, it's a low maintenence fork, i just have bought the essential to do services to it after 6 years (i did maintenence just one time now i'm gonna do it more times)
@hubix pl, from factory springs come in grease, because of in spring chamber is no seal in the bottom. I think if you add oil in spring side, all oil will come to bottom legs.

Hi Try to unscrew top cap and use something long and clean to push damper rod.
Unscrew bottom bolts to half and hit them with rubber hammer :) it's better than hitting lowers
You're right. I had not record the moment when I hit bolts with hammer and wood block.

I prefer to wash it with hot water and soap. But you can use gasoline if you want. The best choice is a break cleaner, but it's not cheap.
bro, my domain 318 is going up an oil risk by lowering it ... do i need to change the retainer? or can i just make their springs smaller?
Gustavo653, yes you can try to shorten springs on oil seals. If it will not help, you must change oil seals and dust seals as well.

Yes you can, but it's too thin. Than thicker than better. Btw your 10w oil will work too.

Why did you not put a foam dust seal in between the other 2 seals?
Maybe in video I did not show, but both seals and foam rings impregnated in oil are installed in both sides of fork.

Pom Ba Рекомендую Моторекс 5W для этих температур.
AXRV88 слушай, после сборки ход стал меньше. Масла много? Или что-то ещё?
Смотря что делал с вилкой. Перелив масла тоже может оказаться причиной срабатывания не на весь ход.

No, it's just plastic thing which hold spring.
It's a spring fork it doesn't use volume spacers
