I do like the looks of the wedge air cleaner and the better performance! But I don't like the open air filter design which is fully exposed to the elements. Nice video 😎👍
@@michaelroy925 I do too. But I’m with you on this design but these bikes are so choked down from the factory, they need lots of air to make HP. Thanks for watching!
I have considered it but I like my gas mileage and since it's a cvo, I thought about just leaving it alone. Plus the cost with the tuner didn't really make sense to me. I've done the hertz speakers upgrade. I'm waiting for Jay's new Amp next. I have some stuff going on my 23.5 cvo road glide too.
Watched a video this morning from Laidlaw Harley, they really made it sound like the tuner, filter and pipes are a waste of money and really amount to no improvement. Interested to hear your long term thoughts.
@@macktruck345 35 years of riding would be my first answer and having the bike before and after the Stage 1 install. I noticed the real difference in the overall performance. I would be curious to see what the dyno results are but will wait until stage 2 or stage 3 install.
@@paulbessom from what I understand is that the amount of air flow going in with the air cleaner and the amount of exhaust from the pipes you need to have more fuel, hence more hp with the tune. Now Harley recommended to me that I do the tuner, with the wedge AC which is their stage 1
Hey Michelle. Thanks for watching my video. I rode with you guys out of Dallas HD for a couple of rides. Didn’t have a whole lot of free time so couldn’t commit to the group. Would love to ride with you guys sometime. Just email me at dadsgarage24@yahoo.com. Look forward to meeting up.

I like the look of the wedge over stock..
I totally agree with you. Why harley would settle for that large breather for the stock bikes, is a puzzle. thanks for watching.

That cleaner looks great ! I want one on mine now , I just did the exhaust ..
@@lewiszeigler3806 thanks man. I sure notice the increase with the tuner.
I'm glad you like it but you didn't even get up in the rpms
Nice job on the video.. Lots of good info.
Thanks Stuart.

Definitely will be monitoring the long term outcome. So far, it’s a real improvement of both torque and HP. Thanks for the comment.
Did you installed the gasket or not?
Yes, installed with the gasket. Thanks
Thanks for the quick reply bro have a good night
Without Dyno before and after, how do you really judge whether it improved anything?

So do u absolutely need to do a tune if putting on this filter on a vvt cvo road glide? Thanks

Looks good. I'll be doing this when I do the 1k service. Say what, hour and a half job?
It took me about 30 minutes to install the wedge and tuner. Thanks for the comment and watching the video
@@dadsgaragehd not to bad at all, basicly a 2 beer job. Looks alot better.
