@@mr_red13 Yes, I do like it. Just got my hands on it 3 days ago, and it is already on a trip to Singapore and Thailand. I feel the CPL 16 would be enough for EDC, but seems a bit small. 20 L seems to be the ideal size, and the extra quick access pocket on the front top side comes in quite handy.
@@paraagshah4153 the reason why I hesitated getting the CTB20 was that it seemed bulky as an edc bag (non-travel). I wish there was a store nearby where I can see them side by side
why the molly/tactical webbing on the 2nd compartment gone? unlike CPL24? your review on CAS2 (V2) is informative that I helped in deciding on owning it. I will buy CPL16 when that horizontal webbing on the top is in place similar to CPL24.
I ended up pre-ordering cpl16 😅, last week of October delivery. This video helped in comparing it with other similar packs. 😅 what are those packing cubes? brand and size?
I did the same. I would have liked it if the key leash was in the other pocket. And also wish it had at least one bottle pocket. Regardless, I’m looking forward to trying it out.
What I find the most disturbing about backpacks. The measurement of volume is very clearly defined, yet everybody seems to calculate it differently. You can pick two backpacks, an the the difference in each direction is only 2cm but their overall volume difference is like 10 liters. How does that work?
I have a Alpaka elements Pro and they say it's 27L but it feels like 20 it's tight.... What do you think the comparison is bag over bag You think I can hold the same or more in the CPL 16?
Their whole thing is that the left shoulder thing is for easy right hand access to pockets. Whether or not you agree that it's the right way to do it seems to be a personal thing.
@@mistsrider Yes, it was a jab at them. I'm right-handed and the mirror version feels like the correct orientation for me. But I know some right-handed people who swing over the left shoulder and for them, this bag works. Additionally, once the bag is off the back and in front of me the regular version is slightly more convenient even for me.
@@donaldbibey6097 Same here I returned mine waiting for the Mirror. There inventory levels are horrible. They are out of stock all the time on many items.
@@knowyourhistory Probably because each compartment has their own proprietary space. That's why even though a pack like the Alpha One Niner Whitley is rated as 20L, it carries more in its main compartment than the Evergoods CPL24 (rated at 24L). This is because Evergoods literage is based on every pocket having its own dimensions. This in turn makes their bags a bit more "bloated".
My new favourite EDC. Really well designed and aesthetically very pleasing.
Hi. nice work on the vid. Can this pack stand up on its own? or does it fall over? Thanks
Odd place to put a key leash. You would think they put in the front secondary vertical pocket
Agreed
The CTB has this in the correct place. That's why I ordered a CTB 20 over a CPL 16 or 24
@@paraagshah4153 are you liking the CTB20? I just preordered the CPL16 but don’t know if I should change to the CTB

the new back mesh on the back and the shoulder straps is very thin. It can tear and zip even without rough use.

Nice Review:) What's the name of your tech pouch and toiletry kit?
One of them is the Aer split kit
Tech pouch loos like an aer split kit. Not sure on the toiletry kit but the red zipper looks cool 😅
That’s the Aer Split Kit! More info: packhacker.com/travel-gear/aer/split-kit/
The toiletry pouch is from the Hartford Gear Company.
I need at least one water bottle pocket. Otherwise, good looking bag pack!
🤙🤙🤙
Would've been nice if it had a water bottle pocket. Office workers drink water too.
None of the CPL bags have a water bottle pocket. Evergoods have other bags that do. Look into the CHZ series.
.. if only they made a version for right-handed people

@mistsrider agree and additionally, you'd want to keep your dominant arm free

I have to agree, this is backwards from the way I use my packs.

Looks much larger than 16L from the outside.
All their bags looks larger than they should be from the outside. I don't know why. The 2.5L crossbody they have is huge.
