Full Head of Highlights on Dark Asian Hair | Dark Hair with Blonde

Hi Guys, in January I got my hair done for my 24th birthday and I thought it would be great to bring you guys along with me. From my personal experience of getting my hair done professionally for about 5 years now, I have learned what works best for my hair and styles I like. Having very dark hair naturally it can be hard to achieve blonde, so come along with me to see how my dark roots transform and become lighter! Please note that results may vary, I have had balayage and highlights done for many years so the colour has gotten lighter with each session.

After a year of at home bleaching, I got my hair from black to platinum blonde. However, I would not recommend this as my hair did break. After, seeking professional help, I have had my hair done professionally bleached and toned for 5 years which has got it to the blonde it is now.

What shampoo / conditioner do you use? Your hair is in lovely condition ❤

I use the Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo and the Sukin Colour Care Lustre Masque as a conditioner. On days where I need to give my hair some brightness I will use the Bleach London Purple Shampoo or use the L’Oreal Professional Cool Blonde Perfector mixed with a hair mask. I also use Olaplex 3, 6 and 7 on my hair. Hope that helps!
