Also would like to see something concerning Ghouls becoming a dwindling species. Most Ghouls are over 200 years old. There has to be a end for them and having them be seen as something of a bygone age as humanity grows more and more would be interesting.

Actually the kid in a fridge is NOT an Indiana Jones reference.. but actually a reference to old fridges that could not be opened from the inside. It was depressingly common for children playing around junkyards to climb inside old fridges and get stuck.
Even more common were homeless people using fridges as shelters from inclimate weather not realizing they would not open back up
In both cases, it lead to horrific incidents where people would find corpses in old fridges
So its Fallout spoofing real world 50s era fuckups.
I will grant you that Bethesda really doesn't get how much time 200 years is. 3 and 4 feel like the bombs "JUST HAPPENED" meanwhile New Vegas feels like the world burned ages ago and society has struggled to rebuild.

The timeline was wonky even prior to Fallout 3. Fallout 1 takes place in 2161, and 2 in 2241. That's an enormous gap of 80 years that wasn't necessary, but instead they chose to push it that far into the future. There are so many different stories you could tell in an 80 year time period, it's insane. Fallout 3's 2077 takes place merely 35 years after the end of Fallout 2, which is still bad, but Fallout 2 set the precedent of enormous time skips. Fallout 76 was actually smart to go back in time to 2102 -- a reminder that you don't have to push the timeline forward, you can tell your stories at ANY point in the timeline.
Even something as simple as the power armor fusion cores is out of date by Fallout 2, because the lore states these things can operate for 100 years. You can maybe assume they have ways to recharge the batteries or make new ones, but by setting the games anywhere after 2177 (when the power cores would have died out by the earliest) all pre-war armor should be rendered inert. Unless you want to assume the battery only drains if it's in use, but even then the battery would be less powerful after so long of being left to rot.
My point is that if we had less absurd time skips, we could have Fallout 4 set in like 2205, or something like that, and there wouldn't be much of a problem.

It was never internally fitted with a jetpack, because that's not what they were built for.
Hell, even in fallout 4, the jetpack is an EXTERNAL upgrade, something you strapped on your back. The US military never built their power armour to be flying toasters for no real tactical reason whatsoever.
And while it may not be physically realistic to have that, you can always blame bethesda for that, not the original fallout writers who never included that silly shit to begin with.
Power armour could also never fly hundreds and hundreds of meters in the air, and become uncontrollable balloons by cutting a single oxygen pipe ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ARMOR.
It also never had the weakness at the centre and FRONT of the armor that coop conveniently exploits but kinda forgets about when he's fighting maximus. Did david and dan from game of thrones write this episode?
The T-45 was supposed to be a prototype sent to the frontlines because of time restraint. It was less durable but not exceptionally vulnerable on the front of the torso, as far as I'm aware. The show made that crap up.

Actually, I’m of the belief that the whole reason they’re adding the “ghoul juice” to the show is as a tease of a future gameplay mechanic in Fallout 5.
Because I’m of the belief that Bethesda wants to make Fallout more like The Elder Scrolls, and that means adding in multiple playable races in future Fallout games. I’ve suspected this was one major reason Fallout 4 took place in Boston as well, since they want to add Synths as one of the future playable races to Fallout 5 in order to get closer to parity with TES. Since then you could have Humans, Ghouls, Super Mutants and Synths all as playable races that use humanoid skeletons with different skins and scaling in character generation on game start (with a few different sub-race options for some of these options also as in TES, such as Vault-Dweller or Wastelander for humans and Gen 2 or 3 for synths).
The Ghoul Juice is going to be their in-game mechanic for the resources needed to balance out the bonuses they’re going to give Ghoul players, since as you’ve pointed out, Bethesda has basically made Ghouls extremely OP otherwise.
With Super Mutants it’s built in how they’re balanced - super strong and tough but they’ll have slow skill growth or XP growth or something to make them “dumb,” mechanically. For Ghouls they need something else, hence the juice.

Bethesda sees fallout like a 1950s hipster mad max, they dont understand the themes nor they care about the lore. Amazing how the master never found vault 33 despite it was by spitting distance of the masters base. Then again people pretend this show is great and does not butcher the lore, but most of them are pretenders fallout 4 fans and tourists, they read a wiki article and pretend to know fallout.
Also i am gonna rant a bit about those people "fallout is a critique of capitalism" says the hipster tourist, where? It does not mention it at all, all they got is liberty prime from fallout 3, fallout is not about capitalism or the cold war, its about the politics and society of the post apocalypse, meaning not the past but the future after the disaster, fallout is not a warning about nuclear war as much as it is about "war never changes" meaning that humans are tribal and even after the apocalypse they will form factions and go to war with each other, which is a much more bleak and dark critique of humanity than the "red scare" or nuclear war.
The original idea for vault tec was that they will build space ships and go to space and the shi and the hubologists and the enclave in fallout 2 want to do those things. But bethesda is like the cyberpunk meme in which someone misses the point of cyberpunk entirely and says "wow cool trenchoat, i also wear sunglasses at night". Bethesda doesnt understand fallout, they see fallout as a surface level "1950s max max with 1930s music" its mad max for hipsters, when the themes of fallout are far more deeper than that.
Well the new fans they attracted believe that "modern guns dont belong in fallout" because they only played fallout 4 and the "never mess with fallout fans we unironically believe the extreme ideologues the games criticize" meme.
To which i say criticize how? If cesar's legion is a critique of fascism, even though he makes sense, that would mean that when mr house says the best line ever "if you want to see the results of democracy then look outside the window" (oooof) then the NCR is also a "extreme ideology" since the game "criticizes extreme ideologues" meaning that all the ideologues in the game are bad and if you believe in democracy or the republic, you are also extreme.
NOPE, all fallout is saying is that even after the apocalypse humans will form factions and go to war with each other and their governments wont be perfect and corrupt and humans will destroy its other and even now realizing this, we all would pick a faction and defend it, because humans are tribal and now you gonna attack me and dissagree with me because HUMANS ARE TRIBAL. This is far more deep than "critiquing capitalism and the red scare" or random 1930s music and 1950s nuclear family visuals.
In fallout 2 you had cities and factions with space programs and everyone used real money and shady sands became the new california republic and you had cars. In fallout 3 they went backwards, all technology became inferior, all civilization was gone and humans hid in a bunch of tiny settlements while there were super mutants everywhere in the city, who couldnt be there because super mutants were a fallout 1 thing that took place in the other side of the country and by that time there would be far less super mutants not more and they would never reach the other side of the country and of course everyone went back to using bottlecaps. By new vegas you had factions the size of small states going to war with each other, there was a progress on rebuilding civilization and repeating the mistakes of the past because humanity never changes, eventually there would be a space fallout like the game colony ship, i enjoyed seeing my actions affecting the wasteland and making it more advanced, meanwhile bethesda once again removed all of that with fallout 4 and made it a remake of fallout 3 where everyone is primitive again, the guns look even more crappy and ancient, barely any towns, super mutants are everywhere, everyone is back at using bottle caps as if nothing in the old games happened or had any effect. Then they did it again with fallout 76, again you just exit the vault and everything is empty, this time there are no npcs either, in a series of games that is well known for its good characters and dialogue choices.
The next fallout will be another fallout 3 remake that once again everything will look as if the bombs just dropped and there will be super mutants everywhere despite at this point they should have gone extinct as they cant have kids and you will build stuff everywhere like fallout 4, because bethessda, bethesda never changes, seriously starfield is basically fallout 4 but somehow worse without the cool falout lore from the old games to stand on and without a worldmap, which caused even the biggest bethesda fanboys to stop defending bethesda because this is what these clowns always liked about betheda games, the exploration of the worldmap, not that their games had a good story or rpg mechanics, they never did, except morrowind of course.

    About the show...
I believe the "ghoul juice" is only for ghouls who are already in the process of going feral, thus not every ghoul would need it. It's also probably a recent invention in the world.
I also do believe the whole not needing food/water thing is stupid, and that the Fallout 4 quest is incredibly dumb, but I'm still not sure the show is adherent to that logic. You could very easily say the IV also contained fluids for Cooper, as well as nutrients to sustain him, although it would be a bit of a stretch. It might make more sense to say ghouls could hibernate honestly, given how so many feral ghouls seem to go a long while without any food. Fallout 4 does however seem to say ghouls still need food though, given there's a quest relating to the brotherhood where an initiate sneaks food to a bunch of feral ghouls underneath the Boston Airport.
Also, in the show's defence, we don't actually know if Thaddius is a ghoul, for all we know he could have been turned into a kind of mutant, as it's not like Cooper regrew his finger after Lucy bit it off.

At this point the SCORCHED are better Ghouls than the Ghouls Bethesda has made, And that's because they look like they're literally burning from the inside out (which they are, bc that's what Ultracite infection DOES).
They're not immortal, but can survive a reasonably long time until they eventually cool and petrify. They have a pseudo hivemind, which can connect them to a degree and explains their unnatural aggression even in small packs. The one in charge is a super mutated bat that is so hard to kill you have to nuke her and then, while in the cloud, have enough people and firepower to actually _hurt her._ obviously this is possible to stop bc Whacky Zany Looter Shooter BUUUUT.
Let's not forget that unless you're basically a robot, super mutant (urgh), or a weird cryptid, you can be infected and Scorched! Even short term exposure, or a scratch, seems to be capable of infecting you, to say little of the gases that could burst from them. It's incurable, and innoculation came pretty much too late to matter, with too little supply to even prevent outbreaks.

Regarding Ghouls, I was never comfortable with Moira Brown somehow surviving a full blown nuclear blast. Ghouls within Fallout 3 alone die from flamethrowers and grenades, or they die because you ignited a gas leak in the Subway. What does all this have to do with a nuke? A nuke releases a blast with heat, and I mean hot. Hotter than the napalm you are spewing out of a flamethrower. Then there’s the power of the supersonic shockwave. More pressure than just a grenade shockwave. Putting those two factors together. It’s absurd that Moira wasn’t vaporized. I feel like potentially the drug could be explained with the show being the latest we’ve seen in the timeline. As time goes on, more ghouls experience brain decay and potentially we see the development of a drug to stave off the effects. I know Bethesda hasn’t been super consistent on this, but it’s not like new drugs haven’t been developed post-war in the lore, like Jet. Maybe someone mixed some pre-war alzheimer’s medication with some dishwasher detergent or something and found it delayed the brain decay of ghouls that were losing their minds at a exponentially faster rate. Maybe in the decade since the last game, we start to see the pre-war ghouls’ time finally run out. It’d be quite a lucrative market with repeat customers, who if they’ve been alive this long are likely very capable of acquiring caps to keep your pockets full.
I dunno, I’m not against it in concept. I do wish it was more developed though. I know we’re only in season 1, but just anything to fill in those blanks a bit would’ve been great.

Don't forget that after you let the ghouls into Tenpenny Tower (with the consent of the residents), the ghouls will slowly begin to kill people. And when you come to this tower a week or two later, there will be only ghouls in it, and the corpses of the inhabitants are hidden in one of the rooms.
