No doubt someone, somewhere, is even more pissed with Deere that they just missed out on that limited run of parts. Sounded like Cody was laying some serious beads with the welder in the background.
No offense meant Wes but, in all the years I've operated Bobcat(s), (30yrs), never once have they ever had the issue(s) that JD has for parts. At least you're finally getting her put back together. Cheers :)
I wouldn't crawl my ass under that thing supported by the hydraulics like that. I had mine up on wooden blocks and it still freaked me out getting under it. Nice work and they sure are handy as heck to have around.
Thanks for the video ,glad you finally got the parts. I'm thinking there are going to be a few guys getting a shock when they go for parts for around the 18 or older year machines in the next while. I have a CaseIH MX135 in the shop for brake work now. There was a seal I wanted to change while I could see it in the rear axle. It's obsolete along with quite a few other parts on the same diagram. I told the guy it's going to be a bad day when I tell him we can't fix it because oil seals or bearings can't be matched up to replace obsolete stuff from OEM, without even looking for used shafts and gears that will probably be worn out just the same and are obsolete to .. The second one this week was a Ford 8630 with powershift issues, lots of that is getting the same, or just crazy prices, there was a couple bearings in it would cost $800 or more Canadian according to your buddy's at Messicks. Man I love their online parts pages, the system they've built is way better than some of the main company pages, our local Caseih dealers still giving part numbers for stuff that don't exist on the Canadian sites. I told him that seal didn't exist nope he's arguing it does then gets a surprise when he tries ordering it L.O.L . Take care .
Wouldn't blame you for trading that thing off. Crazy price for a part you can hardly get, even aftermarket. Never thought I'd say that about a, JD. At least now you and all your subscribers know. It's nuts!
Cat 279C cost me $2500 aftermarket for a drive motor. Looked identical to the Cat OEM. It probably was the same exact unit. I could only find one place in the USA that carried it. Cat wanted $5k for it.
Hey! I've got the same skid steer and I just finally got mine back together as well! Haven't had final drive issues yet but let me know where you can buy the sun and planet gears from because I may go ahead and change mine out as well!
good show, I keep looking at the loader and thinking what a shame you cant's get parts for; I wouldn't think John Deere left you hanging with no parts.
I recently started watching your videos on the 332. I have one also (2005). Bought it used with about 4000 hrs. It works like a hot damn. Unfortunately, I am getting a oil leak from right hand side rear behind track. Many of the hydraulic hoses have already been replaced (that I can easily get to) I fear this one is the drive hose. Or at least I hope that is all. Is it really hard to get to and replace Looks like from your video it is all from under the cab or will I have to remove track and sun gear? My john Deere dealer is 200 per hour if I go in and more if they send out a guy in a truck. Hoping I might be able to do this myself come spring when it's not -20 (Winnipeg, Canada). Hope you can share some info. Sounds like you like shareing based on all your hard work. Thanks in advance.
@@bryanginder5903 They both break because they are still machines just like any other color. It's a myth spread by the die hard fan boys that JD stuff is better than everybody else's, and don't break down or wear out between services L.O.L
If I had a piece of equipment sitting in my shop that long I probably couldn't find it. But when they set up my estate sale they would probably find it and said what the hell is this.
Great to view your success with this machine. Now that it works and some value has returned. Will you sell it and buy something you can get parts for? or run it until it is scrap metal?
I love Tim, he reminds me of working with my dad. You have awesome kids Wesley. You said it Tim is a BOSS!
My favorite kind of video. You and Tim repairing equipment

Mr Tim looks good with his new haircut 👍

Get rid of the skid steer now that it's running. Time for an upgrade.
Just an observation, but I have my "Subscribed" setting at "ALL" which apparently in RUclips speak translates as "Never" for Tandy videos

Trad it for a JCB Tellskid.

Tim needs to invest in overalls. Plenty of pockets and no buttcrack for us.
Got one from a race team, is so comfi and nice. Yeah, would never go back.
He is working all day, we a there for just a few moments of it. If Tim is more comfortable in Jeans, Tim can wear Jeans.
Great to view your success with this machine.
