DOC was already better than Snoop! He also produced a great album with no bad language! However, as we know it’s not al about actual talent..it’s about Marketability! I disagree about Kurupt’s assessment of Nipsey. He had potential, and he would have easily continued to hold is own in the era…but the media buzz around rappers like Snoop, Tupac, Big and Eminem was very unique!
It was the accident. He did have a drink problem before the accident…but that crash effectively ended his career..for all but ghost writing (which he did in NWA days)
@CAJ Action The D.O.C had his accident before Snoop came to Deathrow. If the DOC hadn't had his accident he would've really blown up and Dre probably would've been busy with the DOC's career.
I don’t believe so. Dre would have still found Snoop. Warren G was his step brother, somehow there was nothing stopping Dre from meeting Snoop regardless of DOC’s accident

Nothing but facts. "Make it Funky Enough" is still a top 20 album of all-time. DOC's pen is still nice til this day.
thats cold what happened but im glad hes good($) with Dre and all that. i remember the hype when his video was out.
DOC's 2nd and 3rd albums he would've really hit his lyrical stride to advance the Rap Game
