1) Because the video ID system received major updates in early 2006, some videos from 2005 have had two different links. The second Kaizenamazen video from April 24th may be a case of this.

I always find the line "the internet never forgets" to be rather ironic given how much internet shit easily becomes lost media if it's not archived.

It's harder for the internet to remember when corpos are doing their best to scrub everything not family friendly
I have a 512 GB SD card and anytime I see a video that is old and interesting I immediately archive it

5:33 In early 2006, RUclips updated the way that video IDs were generated, and in doing so, generated new Base 64 11-character strings for every RUclips video up to that point. I will just assume that it's the same video with a different ID that got picked up by the API.
Yeah, I noticed that with certain 2005 videos too while researching and couldn't find much about it. Thanks for letting me know =)

Those 3 guys had no idea of the behemoth they would create.
I sometimes wish people didn't delete/private their videos.
Even if said video wasn't on par with the creator's standards or had a controversy surrounding it, it's still a piece of history being erased.
I agree, though they might not like it nowadays it’s still best to keep something that you made for time sake.

i deleted my most popular video because i thought it was shit
i'm so angry with myself for deleting a BUNCH of old videos of mine, because I thought they were cringy. One had a ton of views too, I still have the little spike in my analytics. I still wish to recover them but it's basically hopeless...
im gonna nerd out big time about my hyperfixation so sorry in advance:
this is literally the biggest problem currently with daft punk/french house lost media. its either no one has recovered it from lost CDs or people just. Delete videos because they were dmca'd or got in huge controversies. it sucks because theres some huge key daft punk footage of not only the robots but complete interviews of them from 1997 wiped to time because someone decided to call someone else out. ive lost about 17 videos to this problem that i couldn't recover because they were either dmca'd or just removed completely. whole extra tad bits from different cds from cassius or justice or daft punk removed because an account got terminated. :(
I also think it comes down to people anting their privacy tbh.

Things like this is why I try to save any old video I find on a public playlist so that if some finds it they can hopefully archive on a website like the way back machine ^^

Hey! i found a video from June 14, 2005 3:50:40 AM GMT in a RUclips Crawl from 2009-2010 done by chfoo. it doesnt include the channel name but it does include the video id: vbDk88HUIt8, and the title: My dog Yoda. it would count as the 107th youtube video in the sheet.
