I go to the cemetery probably about once a month because I find solace there. Yet the song goes out to my granddaughter. She has cerebral palsy and 25 years ago the doctor said she would never walk or talk. She hopped around on her butt instead of crawling because she didn't have the use of her left arm. And then one day she pushed herself up by her right arm and began to walk. Then just shortly after that she began to talk. So my ex-wife of course was my wife at the time. She devoted the song to Mercedes way back when she began to walk. Now she's like a stroke victim and she still doesn't have the use of her left arm and she walks crooked with her left leg. She is like caught between two worlds because she wants to be normal and she recognizes normal yet she's real slow and her thinking and her comprehension skills. Some people may see her as a brat because she easily throws fits. 25 year old throwing fits like a two year old. Yet I don't see her as being a fit thrower I'll see her as a little girl who doesn't fit in. And in her heart of hearts she's just a tad bit upset about it. Anyways every time I hear the song of course I think of my special needs granddaughter who probably doesn't know this but she may be more normal than the bunch of us. And on another note when you see someone hits dislike on your video. I'm going to go ahead and say they did not even listen to you they're just a hit dislike button person. Because if anyone actually listen to you like they would hit. So don't take the scoffers seriously they just don't have anything better to do than push buttons. Don't let them push your buttons because your obviously all that and more. You just keep on playing and singing and we all will just keep on listening and liking. And always remember when the chips are down that God brings all things to the goodness of his glory. Where the word all is a very very big word. By the way when I ran across you the other day on my news feed I was having a horrible day and the sound of your voice soothed my tensions. So thanks

I really like Karen but she does not have enough pain in her soul to sing this one. Subject is a heroin addict on the path to destruction. Someone that hurts so bad they are willing to dance with death to have a short vacation from the pain that only grows day by day.
