Going through the motions......
Casey is a brilliant talent. Will the hired help on Idol put her through to the next level? Hope so, but Caey is still a brilliant talent whether the "judges" get it right or not. I like Katy, but she seems a little 'Jelly' of Casey to me.
Why would Katie be jealous of Casey, she's over twice her age and an established star. She was praising her at the end of the song. Actually, the first half of the song was a bit rough. She has a lot of potential but she needs more practice and experience. I think they're going to put both of them through.
It was the wrong song for Casey. It made her scream instead of sing. A shame for her voice. She also loses the sheer confidence she had in the beginning. Unfortunately.
found this gem searching for female covers of she talks to angels and i just wanna say i have to disagree. her performance was underrated and quite frankly one of the best i’ve seen 😅

She has an insanely good voice, is exceptionally pretty, has a fantastic childhood, comes from a good home. I would describe her as a happy foal. That doesn't interfere with the music she wants to sing. She is still too much of a princess who imitates pop stars in her room. She needs to grow older and find her own style. With someone else you're missing the mark. Her current video clips have that too. There are plagiarism sauces on them in image and sound from almost-producers who appropriate her. She is still a girl with heels that are too big from the dressing-up box in the attic.
Sing who you are. And keep it up. Especially when you are nice.
