Doves are an amazing band!! I love all their albums. Something so human and genuine always shines through these men. I had the fortune to be mixing sound for an opening band (World Leader Pretend) for Doves in 2005. We went to Germany, France and England with them. They could have not been nicer gentlemen and always a solid spot on show. Goosebumps every time I hear them live. Well done fellas.
Listening to this for the first time, I feel like memories from childhood flashing back and nostalgia. I don't know why but I do… Doves sound perfect for me over 15years since I heard Some Cities album.

It sounds quite different to what’s come before - I think it certainly adds a lot to the discography! 😁

I agree its quite different to the older stuff, and its hard to not be nostalgic but there's something I still love in this new album
