- Please note that this was filmed back in May 2019. This doll was printed in FDM (fused filament fabrication) and the 3D printer I bought recently is a resin printer so they use different printing materials :-)
**Please make sure to sand plastic prints wet in a proper mask.

자작구관을 바디까지 만드는 것에 대한 개인적인 생각입니다 : 아직도 종종 예전 자작구관 만들기 영상에 댓글을 남겨주시는 분들이 있는데요, 주로 관절과 바디에 대해 물어보시더라고요. 영상 말미에 추가로 녹음한 부분을 좀더 설명드릴게요. 스컬피와 3D 프린팅이라는 두 가지 제작 방법을 겉핥기식으로 배워본 결과, 특히 바디의 경우는 기성 제품을 사용하는 걸 추천드립니다. 회사 단위로 전문 모델러들이 몇 년에 걸쳐 다듬은 바디와, 자작 구관의 바디는 만듦새와 가동성 면에 있어서 큰 차이가 날 수밖에 없어요. 물론 사람마다 완성도에 대한 기준이 천차만별이겠지만, 저는 최소한 '자립'과 '관절 구부림 후 버팀' 두 가지는 충족해야 한다고 생각해요. 개인이 취미로 하루에 몇 시간씩 쪼개서 만들 수 있는 수준이 아니라는 것을 느꼈습니다. 지극히 개인적인 견해이지만요. 꼭 고가의 구체관절인형 바디가 아닌 다른 옵션들도 있으니, 자작구관에 도전하시기 전에 이 부분을 한번 생각해보고 시작하시면 좋을 것 같아요 :-)
아참, 자작구관 자체에 대해 회의적으로 얘기하려는 것은 아니에요. 취향에 맞는 헤드를 직접 조각하고, 손/발 및 기타 일부 파츠를 직접 만들어 커스텀 하는 방법은 적극 권장하는 쪽입니다. 거기서부터 시작해서 흥미를 느끼고 적성도 찾게 되면, 차차 전문 모델러라는 진로까지도 생각해볼 수 있겠죠☺?
