I wonder if Christina picked up a trick or two from Chef Andi after she confronted Elise in Season 9 or if everything Christina has learned over the years from Ramsay made her more than ready to take on Elise in this moment. Either way, it's satisfying seeing one of HK's greatest winners and sous chefs shut down Elise so easily.
Well I bet her time on Season 10, learning from both Chef Ramsay and even Andi, she was ready for Elise.

If anyone can put Elise in her place, I'm glad it's Chef Christina. It was very clever of her not just to know Elise was lying, but making everyone do a breath test just so she could catch Elise in her lie red-handed.

0:40 There’s a reason why she’s doing that. In Hell’s Kitchen Delivery Day punishments in the past have had instances where the wrong things were sent, wrong address, over stocking and under stocking the invoice and wound up doing double the work

@@Eoryu I actually used to do deliveries for produce, meats, etc. And what I'd do is hang up the clipboard or set it down and get to work while sometimes glancing at it. If I just stand there holding it while just watching everyone else do it I would've lost my job. That's not working smarter at all that's just watching other people work. 🤣

when Chelf Christana told Elise you had to eat one bit of the soup i was like yes how dose it taste Elise? miss big mouth finally got put in her place i could not stand her one bit so good for Chelf Christina for putting Elise in her place.
I also liked how Christina clarified that it was the lying that would be a serious issue later. That was right on the money: these seasons are basically one long job interview, and someone who is lying when they think they can get away with it or when it suits them to skip out on their team...? Yeah, that's why Christina was smelling Elise's breath, and Christina is actually being really compassionate here by giving Elise one more chance to tell the truth and learn from the experience. But IMHO, Elise was an idiot if she really believed that they'd hand her a head chef position when everyone hated her AND she was willing to try to lie to her superiors when it suited her. These are really bad signs for any job, and Elise seemed clueless to all the red flags she put out all the time!
To be frank, that was hardly a bite. Christina should’ve made her do a heaping spoonful for lying. 😂

Elise really had the worst attitude I've seen in Hell's Kitchen, which is saying a lot. Always trash talking everyone else, trying to act like she's a boss, but then immediately crumbles when things get rough and puts on a crying face when things don't go her way. In both her seasons, especially this one, she was kept around for way too long and it really made you question if she truly deserved to stay or did the producers just want to keep her for the drama she brought.

Pretty freaking sure Elise wasn't getting away that easily when sous chef Christina caught her in a lie during that, um, spectacular lunch. It's definitely one thing when Ramsay catches a contestant in a lie, but with Christina, she might as well be a human lie detector. Satisfying moment all the same.
