Nice history presentation if Miguel in France. You answered my question, is it distilled from the flower, no, not enough oil.
I noticed most Nugget frags do smell synthetic, but they say the Guerlain the s close to realistic.
Last year I purchased a few more from Parisian exclusives, enjoyed your review with pal Kristo.
Dandy is my #1 as well, awsome dark violet.

Just bought the 2020 version for my wife-our wedding anniversary is coming up.
Loved the silk wrapped bottle from last year but the Maison Masillon Bisque flowers on 24K Gold plated wire for the 2020 Bee bottle is one the best of the series IMO.
Thierry Wasser said in an interview that he changed the formula in 2016 to accentuate the green notes he loves. (He trained as a Botanist originally)
As a fraghead who is becoming more and more of a Guerlainhead I really appreciate your going into these Guerlains I don't always hear about.

The price tag is a bit too rich for me but I am intrigued. I appreciate your sharing the history of the flower.
This year's Muguet bottle/package is disappointing. The best was 2015's in my opinion. You could have bought Frederic Malle's Superstitious instead with the money spent on this year's Muguet, for I find it not so special, unless you have already bought it :)
The 2015 edition is gorgeous, you should sell me yours. Superstitious should be here tomorrow!

I have tried fragrances with muguet, lily if the valley, as a supporting note, never a central accord. Now you got me all kinds of intrigued! And thanks for the muguet/May Day information, didn't know history involved. will I have to score a decant online. Mahalos!
Hermes' Muguet Porcelain is another favourite.

Reinhold Everest probably not. Every year they smell the same, only the presentation changes. If you want it for a Lilly of the Valley I much prefer Hermessence Muguet Porcelain
