Today it’s a special day simply because I’m living it and in good health!
I’d like to share with you my humble impressions of Muguet by Guerlain.

This is a wonderful installment, Sebastian. The scent sounds enchanting and I am in full agreement that « if not now, when? »
I adore the scent of muguet/Lily of the valley (was in the yard of my childhood home) but find most perfumers’ interpretations to be sharp. I bet the Guerlain is beautiful! Both of the bottle designs are stunning. I’m going to go spray myself with abandon now! Before bed, such a comforting time to do so.
The interpretations of Guerlain that I’m familiar with are all very smooth, kind, delicate.
It’s definitely not that sharp/soapy take on lily of The Valley.
Cartier’s Pur Muguet is probably my favorite current Muguet though. It’s just sooo beautiful!! ❤️

All we have is today ❤ it's a phrase I've got on my phone and I look at it every time I pick it up. I haven't been able to get my hands on muguet special editions but the 2020 bottle is absolutely stunning!

The Muguet candle from guerlain is pretty much the same as the perfume! If you’re into candles and could get your hands on that one, I’d recommend it. It’s definitely much cheaper than the perfume. :)

I love Guerlain's Muguet perfumes! I own Muguet 2023 by Guerlain and it's stunning, both the bottle and its scent. You should definitely try it! It is a very realistic lily-of-the-valley perfume.

I have a tester cube of the 2023 and as far as I can distinguish, it smells the same as the previous years the only difference being the decoration on the bottle.

I have Pur muguet by Cartier and I love it! However Pur Magnolia is my absolute favorite from Cartier’s Pur line.
I love Pur Magnolia too!! That whole line is so beautiful. I love her creations!

I haven’t smelled this year’s edition yet, excited to though!
I was referring to the new Muguet exclusive bottle with the tiny little flowers coming out. The flowers looked a little blobby and that’s the only reason I have not bought it yet. I’d love to see if the flowers have more definition like the muguet and hence ask about the closeup :-)
Im too broke to save my expensive fragrance for special occasion lol, thats why i just have 3-4 bottles of stuff i think is 10/10, and wear it constantly. I wear Coromandel on a daily basis, rather that than having 20 bottles of stuff i wear rarely ever.

Totally agree with you on wearing the "ne plus ultra" fragrances for everyday occasions. It's sad to see unused perfumes languishing in drawers, often outliving their owners. I wear fragrances like Oud Alhambra and Arabian Horse to the grocery store, to Wal-mart, etc. It's fun to see people react in such bland, sterile surroundings.

One of the things that triggered me to start enjoying everything that I own and consider to be the best on a daily basis was exactly what you mentioned, seeing collections outliving their owners. Every time I see it my heart breaks a little.
I used to keep aside expensive or rare fragrance for special time/ date night or something. But like you said got over that phase and now using everything ... The most special day is today :) Bdw Can it be compared to Diorissimo?

@Sebastion Furtunado, your opening's words on wearing the fragrance we love today .... was poetic and so very true! since 1992 GUERLEAIN SAMASA had been for years my personal fragrance (I actually bought the new style style bottle 2 weeks ago but without budget for different designers EDP and EDT I just stayed with Samsara and Champs Elysse - today i have a variety collection of designers mostly EDP and I spray AKA bathe LOL just like you do! PLEASE TALK ABOUT GUERLAIN SAMSARA whenever you can and Champs-Élysées 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 😘😍

I have it as EDP in the red bottle which is not my favorite, as EDP in the frosted bee bottle and as extract in the Quadrilobe bottle, which I adore!!!

I believe I said something in the lines of “this is the best Muguet in the market in my opinion, from my limited experience with perfumes that are intended to be Muguet soliflore.”
