I had The Stars of the North booklet. I did the 3 dancing brears (lower left on front cover) on a light blue Aida. My mother in law then made it into a dress for my oldest daughter who was a toddler at the time. Can cross stitch but can’t see. I still have the dress packed away.

I too need hints of how to use my perle cotton. So far I intend to try use it with regular magazine patterns and try use up my 7 and 8 count aida I bought in my teens, having no idea how the aida numbering worked like.
Flowers and lace is very pretty. My favourite. :)
Lots of people commented shepherd bush stockings use DMC perle 5, I haven’t check it yet but sounds perfect!

I love seeing the patterns you buy. They are so different than what I usually see. I have recent discovered Véronique Enginger. Her patterns are so detailed and unique. I am not a Mirabilia stitcher, but I love the mermaid and the printed fabric you chose. It will be stunning when you finish. The polar bears are cute. They look like smaller patterns so if you start one of those you might be able to get it done and have it finished for a Winter display.

@@RedsStitchery I can't even convince myself to start anything new. I feel the need to finish more. I like what you said in previous videos about starting something and finishing it by the next year. I am hoping to get to that point one day.
The sparkle specialty floss and the thick dmc floss can be used for a needlepoint project.
Also I have Mirabilia mermaid of the pearls too. We should do a Sal with that one❤️

It is so fun to see stitchy hauls! For me the most dangerous place is vk. I spend way too much time then looking at all the patterns that are being created. Omg. I have so many patterns. Lol.
Hey, before you start stitching that Mona Lisa kit, go check out the Mona Lisa pattern that Ekaterina Volkova created just last month, I think. It looks amazing and well, you would have a saga pattern for it. 😁

@@RedsStitchery I have bought so many of her patterns. They are amazing!!! I am eagerly waiting for her to finish another one, as of course, I need it (as it has chickens). Lol. But her Mona Lisa is definitely fantastic and it looks just like the painting, I think. I wonder why Bucilla made the background yellow in the kit instead of having that scenery.

I was happy that the lady at the shop in Utah was so helpful and made such great options available to you. I had seen the mermaid pattern many times but didn't care for it. However, I think it will be stunning on that under-the-sea fabric! Well done Katie!

I say the same thing that im NOT going to buy anything else til i stitch up what i have, but then i see things that end up eating me up inside thinking about them til i end up buying 😂 Then, all is calm for a bit til i "need" other things and it starts all over again lololol 🐈⬛🪡❤️
