Still waiting for that one day Serato will integrate the possibility to assign a knob for the beat jump length... or release all original MIDI mappings for any device...
I'm not a big fan of how the midi mapping stays in place even if you switch the bank you've selected
great mapping i will be sure to map something similar to help my performance's thanks ... i hope rane opens up a tap function so we can change the tempo with hold echo like on the 62 then will be set.
if you hold shift before hitting midi map button you can shift map anything too

I tried to restore details to get back to square one, but it didn’t work. The issue I’m having is the best jump back and forward are auto-triggering. Meaning it keeps engaging the effect as if I’m hitting the assigned pad. What did I do wrong?
It seems like it’s doing the same for all midi mapped options. It’s like I’m continuously triggering or hitting it over and over again. Please help.

The “midi” option isn’t available at the top of my Serato.. I’m using Rane 12s & a Numark Scratch..I’m trying to midi map one of my Rane 12s touch strips to autoplay .. or is there a way I can disable the touch strip all together? Mine just started glitching and beat jumping randomly on its own without me triggering it.
Serato, please help! I'm trying t0 midi map on the Rane 72 as show in this video, but it's not working for me. I'm having 2 issues. 1) When I midi map whatever I map stays engaged. For example, when I midi map the censor button it stays engaged. I can get it to stop going in reverse. 2) When I click to map the loop roll to a pad it also maps the autoloop. I literally did this exactly as done in the video. Please help!

@@SeratoHQ emailed but still no response. Honestly, it's very challenging receiving tech support via email anyways. Serato, you need to step it up with a North American tech support center where we can actually speak to a technician. This would add value to your brand. Some of our issues are right before gigs or during gigs. Not being able to receive support via phone is a terrible experience especially for software/hardware people use to earn a living off of and Serato makes a fortune on. It's been over 16 hours with no response to me email....
@@geneclover did they eventually get back to you? I think that a few business days would be fine for response time vs. expecting same day, but now curious if they got back to you at all
How did you switch to pitch play mode and still have access to your midi mapped pads on the bottom row? I copied what you did but when I switch to pitch play mode, All 8 pads are for pitch play. I have a Rane Seventy. Is this exclusive to the seventy two?
