      Hi Donna, we currently do not have a video that compares all 3 cuts in one take, but we've made a few videos of the OMC and OEC. I listed them below for you to check out. Thanks!

    Why can’t crushed ice be with a round cut? I was always confused by that

    These videos are so helpful! I wanted to do a lot of research before buying an engagement ring and I wish I found this channel/company sooner.
    I'll probably buy from you guys!

    I cannot wait to receive my First Crush radiant cut solitaire I ordered!! It'll be my first moissanite, I already have diamonds. Wanted something similar to the crushed ice diamond look of radiants😬 Thank you for these great videos! 😃😊😊

    Do you think "near colorless" or "colourless" would give a more authentic diamond look?

    • @FireandBrilliance
      @FireandBrilliance  4 года назад +2

      Both are beautiful and resembles a diamond-like look. The best way to choose is dependent on whether you like a colorless or near-colorless diamond. You can pick the moissanite equivalent of that choice.

    When are you going to come out with First Crush in the round shape?

  • @lastlight4252
    @lastlight4252 3 года назад +3

    Hmm; the natural diamond had smaller flashes, more delicate and more numerous, that the moissanite. Were they really faceted the same way?

    If I want something that’s as diamond like as possible, which brand (FAB first crush, NEO, etc) and cut of moissanite(s) that you sell would you recommend?

    • @Nikki-bk1wf
      @Nikki-bk1wf 3 года назад +2

      With all the research I’ve been doing, which is a lot, it seems like the Neo Moissanite is the most diamond like. However, I am now torn between that and the Harro cushion Moissanite. I did have a CC and it was too much of a disco ball effect for me. I lost my first ring so I am looking for another. It’s taking me forever, I don’t know what I want. So many decisions lol

    Can you clean moissanite the same way as a diamond? Does it get cloudy or dull over time?

    • @Firegirl483

    What would be considered the most sparkly cut?

    • @Tori-tf6vy
      @Tori-tf6vy 4 года назад

      Victoria Nguyen I think any cut would be more sparkly. Moissanite are the real sparklers in comparison to a diamond. I’ve seen emerald and radiant cuts to be quite sparkly

      You must be joking… only cheap CZ get cloudy

    • @RyanaRyder
      @RyanaRyder 2 года назад +1

      @@BroDoc9000 Nope. Especially with Crushed Ice moissanites, it can get really cloudy because of the double refraction properties of moissanite. You can look at comparison videos on YT.

      @BroDoc9000 2 года назад

      @@RyanaRyder I'll check it out thanks, I really thought this (crushed iced cut) would be the holy grail of the most diamond like appearance. So I suppose I should go with a Diamond Cut Pear if that's what I wanted to look most diamond like in a pear shape that is? What are your thoughts on F&B vs. C&C Moissy? I remember reading that C&C give off much more color which is a serious moissy giveaway vs diamond, and the F&B kind of mutes that color somehow.

      @@BroDoc9000 Crushed Ice cut is my fave cut in diamond, and if I'm under multiple LED/store or warm lighting, moissanites really look like it. The problem is, in my lifestyle, most of my environment don't have that lighting, so it looks flat and cloudy. I suppose if I never looked at diamonds too much, maybe I wouldn't notice, but I have, and the cloudiness and lack of depth/movement bothered me. As for the colors, realistically, (thinking in my situation, if I was trying to pass it off as a diamond, or get that experience as close as possible) personally if it's too white it starts to look 'fake'? I'm thinking if someone looks at me and I have a sizeable rock and it's too suspisciously perfect and white, it'll be more obvious that it's not a diamond. I've bought OEC cuts in G-H which is not even that warm on my skin tone if I don't have a comparison stone beside it. I don't think most people would notice though, especially at a quick glance, the way moissanite is more pastel-like and how it doesn't have deep reflections (which is how I immediately notice). That being said, I sold most of my moissanite rings(was a hoarder) and saved up for a radiant crushed ice lab diamond. Despite being color J and SI2 it was surprisingly eye clean and so much crisper than any moissanite. The internal reflections were deep and clear, but it was 4ct. Definitely worth it personally, around 5-9k, maybe I lucked out. If you're looking for most diamond like, it would probably be the basic round brilliant cut, step cuts like emerald and Asscher, or even crushed ice in smaller spreads, maybe 1ct. I have a bigger ring size, fluctuating around 6-8, so I need the finger coverage of 2.5-3+CT as a personal nitpick thing.

      @@RyanaRyder This is precisely the kind of technical and harmonized anecdotal experience we need in the world across all platforms of knowledge. Your response has been a true joy; I applaud your mastery and tastefulness. Having said that, you've convinced me to go the lab diamond route as I have settled on a pear shape which is her favorite. I will more than likely use the rarecarat interface as they have the best priced Lab Diamonds in the world according to my searches over the past 2 years. What a wonderful discussion this has been. Thank you again.

      The worst is when people mispronounce pronunciation as 'pronouce-iation'. Oh the irony! Again, it's not an accent thing. The words are spelt differently. Pacifically, instead of specifically is another very odd but strangely common mistake.
