    VLSI Laboratory Experiments
    Part - A
    Analog Design
Using #Cadence VLSI design tool to carry out the experiments, and also using library files and technology files below 180 nm.
The Problem Statement of the Experiment Carried out in this video is given below:
    a) Capture schematic of Common Source Amplifier with PMOS Current Mirror Load and find its transient
response and AC response? Measures the Unity Gain Bandwidth (UGB), amplification factor by varying
transistor geometries, study the impact of variation in width to UGB.
    b) Draw layout of common source amplifier, use optimum layout methods. Verify for DRC and LVS,
extract parasitic and perform post layout simulations, compare the results with pre-layout simulations.
    Record the observations.

Mam our conjuse college is using free open source software electric binary and ltspice software, pleasif possible tell me the difference in virtuosa and electric binary software mam?

Well, Cadence is licensed and electric binary and ltspice is open source software. Cadence is industry standard, if you want to get into some VLSI domain based work then you should be familiar with the cadence. Electric binary is also good but its not that popular and have very limited feature, but cadence virtuoso covers all features for VLSI.
