I spent 18 months locked up there in the 90s but we were in all the new buildings, ppl who had graduated to next level lived in the housing in two of the big brick buildings but most of them were still empty back then we would earn time were they let us walk around on the grounds and they had like a diner restaurant for patients we would eat there and go smoke weed and explore..there are more buildings then these if you go down the road and few the woods there are 2 more giant complexs
I was there as a child and I lost one of my dearest friends she hung her self I was at the municey children's center and yes we were very abused and druged up I still some times have night terrors and often wonder why that place wasn't demolished 😰😰😰
@Viking Squirrel for me last night wen I came across this video I started to cry and get a cringy feeling in my stomach That video brings me today That movie of steven king's IT the part wen the children are grown and go back to save some kid Even tho back then I could save my friend kimberly I still feel guilty bout her death there even tho I was a child my self 🤔😔🤦🏾♀️😰
I worked here as an intern for two months in 2011, I worked in the forensic unit, I walked around all the derelict buildings with my friends but I returned twice at night time while i was fairly drunk.. the second time I brought my camera and while I got a few photos the battery died, then when I was walking along a four way roofed path I heard a loud bang in the darkness ahead of me.. I shit myself and jumped off the path and ran through the grass.. then flash! it was like someone took a photo of me.. that was enough for me I was out of there.. never forget it.. if you like scary stuff go walk around a derelict asylum at night on your own :)
I'm a local from the area, there's a few areas that you can get in but there is always security on the property, a good chunk of the area isn't abandoned and there's constantly a police suv that drives around the grounds. You can get in but it's not easy
Thanks for the quick reply! I think this might be one of those sites where I might just pass by. It's not that much fun if the police presence is constant. Maybe I'll do a recon first and then decide. Thanks again for the info.
I actually drove by today, i got inspired by this video and it's worse than I thought, they have signs now that say you can't film or take pictures on the grounds without expressed permission and that you also can't even drive on the property without being a patient or staffer at one of the main facilities. A crazy thing I found out was that in thanksgiving of 2016, a group of patients started a riot in one of the facilities, they apparently still house criminally insane but are understaffed. Anyway, if you're looking for a place similar to check out that is somewhat nearby, i would recommend foresthaven, its about half an hour from this hospital and it's way easier to get into from what my friends have told me
You are a Prince! Thanks for the update! I'm not even going to do recon. You just did it for me. Appreciate it very much! I've been to Forest Haven and that is accessible with basic stealth and common sense.

You didn't go inside. Was that because you couldn't find an entrance or you just didn't want to go inside? Any security? Thanks!
