worked like a charm, my best friend of 12 years placed a sticker on my childhood bedroom door back in 2014 or 15, this sticker means allot to me and seeing as the house is being sold i didn't want to leave it behind, nor did i want to take the entire door, pairing this method with a razor blade I was able to successfully remove it non destructively and reapply it to my laptop
that is literally so cool and im so happy for you. i am regretful watching this video bc i ruined a wooden door like that in the past by using only a razor...i cut into the wood :( im glad another method was explained to me with this video tho!
Fantastic advice. Solved the problem. Sticker came off easily. It did leave just a little residue on the cabinet but that was easy to clean off. Thank you for great idea!!!
AWESOME!!! That's a life long trick to know! Used it to get a stubborn barcode sticker off of a wooden spoon. Cleanly peeled. I just watched another video with a guy removing one with a razor... no need! Thank you! :)
Appreciate this alot! For some reason when I got my dresser, it was covered in stickers and I don't know why. It's 10 years later and I just got them off. Thanks man!
I completely forgot about the hair dryer method, thanks man! I used it to remove a nice image from and cigar box and it worked perfectly! . I taking it out so I can use the beautiful artwork on the outside of the box because I'm making it into a 3 string guitar
Omg.. This was amazing. My little brothers put thousands of stickers around my parents bed before we left for vacation and we needed to remove it before they got home. Or they would be dead by now. Lol. Life saver!! ❤
I did this and got rid of a ton of stickers from the 90's on an old cork board!! haha, I've that board for so long and always wanted to take those stickers off so thank you! :)
If it didn't come off with the heat you can try warming it up again and scraping with something not too hard (like the side of a credit card or guitar pick). Rubbing alcohol works well too.
Worked really well to remove a large 30cm x 30 cm brand sticker frustratingly stuck to the second untreated rubber-wood bench top we bought for our laundry. I wish we’d watched the video before we tried removing the sticker from the first one!
It worked thanks!!! Although I was trying to get a sticker off plastic so the plastic started burning and I was trying to open a lid secretly AND NOW THE WHOLE THING LOOKS SUSPICIOUS SOOOO thanks for the tip I'll use it more often just next time not heat it as much 😰
I REALLY hope this will work to release the clear packing tape on the floor at work that I've been using TSP on and using a scraper...hours of back breaking work.
thank you just got a bedroom suit for my daughter 😉but it was great suit but eventually it has tons of stickers on it didn't have an idea how too remove them...great tip😉
When I was little anytime I would get some stickers they went on the door, the door is 120 years old and I pretty much ruined it but I finally got it off now gotta figure out how to get the drawings of of it...
Not gonna lie, this definitely works. Though, I think that if you hair dry it longer: it will not just be quicker but also more satisfying to peel it off. Anyways, good hack.
I had to take a 20" warning label off a white painted headboard and using my hair dryer worked really well, otherwise I would have been picking with my thumbnail for hours!
Great Tip! I tried and it worked! Stickers stuck for more than 6x years were peeled off using hair dryer!!!
Awesome!
Awesome!! Ty!!

If it didn't come off with the heat you can try warming it up again and scraping with something not too hard (like the side of a credit card or guitar pick). Rubbing alcohol works well too.

Try using a Scottie Peeler along with this trick.
Thank you 😊 I had stickers on my door and they are not budging now I found a LIFE safer
Great tip for those with dryer..
If don't have one, you can always borrow one.
What if you didn't use the heat and you got the residue? Do you get the residue off the same way?
Yes, use the heat to soften the residue and then roll the residue off with a finger. Should come right off.
That saved my life thank you
Awesome!
Also can use eraser to scrub of white thing.
When I was little anytime I would get some stickers they went on the door, the door is 120 years old and I pretty much ruined it but I finally got it off
now gotta figure out how to get the drawings of of it...
Awesome going to try
Does that work on glass too like car windows?
Worked great
Would doing this, I can also move the sticker somewhere and it will stick fine?
Sometimes, I’ve managed to do it with a few, sometimes they aren’t sticky enough to re-stick to the new surface.
Not gonna lie, this definitely works. Though, I think that if you hair dry it longer: it will not just be quicker but also more satisfying to peel it off. Anyways, good hack.
Excellent, thank you
I had to take a 20" warning label off a white painted headboard and using my hair dryer worked really well, otherwise I would have been picking with my thumbnail for hours!

Nice!
Excellent
What about sticker glue that is left from peeling off before seeing this tip?
You can heat up the glue with a hairdryer and scrape it off with an old credit card or gift card.
Can we use hot water instead..?
I am asking this because I can't use hair dryer as there is no plug at that area..
No, hot water will damage the wood and finish.
