Yay I just used this method to remove a stubborn Value Village sticker on a book and it worked perfectly and easily. There’s no trace of the sticker now and the book wasn’t damaged. Thank you!
Thanks Jeremy! It is a cool radio for 6.99 but if you check out my other video of taking it apart, I found out the thing is smoked. Try before you buy!!
Thank You!!! Those stupid stickers always bug and I don't like using that goo gone or goof off stuff. Now I just have to remember to pick up some rubbing alcohol when I'm at the store. Thanks for posting this tip 👍😎👌
Good tip. My go to label remover: 1) I use hair dryer to heat it up. Hot but not too hot. This usually softens the adhesive enough to peel it off; adhesive and all. next go to: (If possible (i.e,. label on plastic or glass) I put the item in the microwave for 30 seconds @ 1,000 watts (it's faster than #1. then for tougher labels...3) I do the soak in PB Blaster or WD 40, That will get about anything off. Final option, I soak and clean with Acetone. Acetone is relentless. - When I was in the industrial chemical business we recommended Caustic Soda or Potassium Hydroxide (Lye) heated solution for metal and plastic paint removal. It's a great stripper. - I've never tried the alcohol soak. It's kind of a weak solvent. - For plastic and aluminum stripping, cleaning, and degreasing we always used Sodium Metasilicate (powdered dishwasher soap has sodium metasilicate in it as the main ingredient). Heat it to a boil for one hour. -
This video is a confirmation I used the right fluid for removing the price tag of my vinyl record cover. I fist learned this when I was working in church ministry. We would record our services and make copies and label them. Sometimes the label won’t look right on the cassette so we had to remove the label. To remove the label we used lighter fluid and a pair of Q-tips. We would dip the Q-tips in lighter fluid and then apply it to the label. We would wit a few minutes and peel the label off. The label comes off smooth and clean leaving no sticky residue. Thank you for your tutorial video and confirmation I used the right thing.
Awesome! I bought an expensive smart door lock and don’t you know they put one of these stickers right on the face of it. I didn’t want to scrape it off and scratch the paint, worked great.
I use few drops of any kind of oil when most of the paper from the sticker is ripped off. Don't have to wait and needs a little scrub with sponge or rubbing with fingertip (if items material is delicate)
Wow.. works great. thanks.. I ordered something from online I collect.. they put a sticker on the clear plastic packaging dead center......completely blocking the item. Now sticker is gone like it was never there. 😮😮😮
Nail polish remover with acetone works. Let it rest for 20-30 seconds, don't touch it, and the tag should come right off. Goo and all. If it has benzyl benzoate, even better. ..given, these are both ingredients you could find in jet fuel..
That doesn't always work. Alcohol initially to remove the paper on top. My suggestion next is to use Olive oil or Turpentine to remove the sticker residue. Comes right off with your nails intact.
Just do this; 1) put scotch tape on price part and, then strip it off 2) use a damp rag to rub all over sticker, boom, it crumbles and starts to disappear. Thanks: 👀
I wish I could add pictures to this but I didn’t have any rubbing alcohol so I used nail polish remover and it looks sooo bad! Sure the sticker came off but it ruined the plastic and removed some of the writing! It’s a lipgloss btw
What about those stickers they use at the warehouse when buying online. They just slap those on where ever. Not caring hey people collect these.. so let's put the sticker right across the front...lol collect that.
but what do I do if the paper is on my skin and it wont come off because I let it sit over night and now my pants are wet from piss???? Now I have to do it all over again and fish dish on my wishes amiright?

That’s something I didn’t know. Very clever! Also - rad stereo for $6.99!

This worked beautifully on my new luggage! Thanks for the tip.
Thank you for this helpful tip! I tried this technique out and it worked so quickly and left no residue!
Hair dryers work very well on most stickers glues as well.
Best thing I’ve learned this week!
Perfect! I used an alcohol wipe to remove he sticker off a new credit card.
This is a pet peeve of mind. I wish stores would not put the price on the items. It's so tacky.🤦♀️
It's 2023, almost 2024 & stores are still doing this! So annoying
Thanks for the tip. I had never thought of using rubbing alcohol.
Thanks for watching!
Thank youreally needed this 😊❤

Thanks bud, much appreciated. Subbed. 👍
Took some effort, but this worked. I would suggest people used old cloth rag with some alcohol to remove gunk, it won't break apart like paper towels.
Any alternative for rubbing alcohol?

Worked as advertised!
Ill try thanks great idea
I just used your method on some Ozark Kayak Oars to remove their large stickers, it worked! Thank you.
Thanks
Thanks it worked
Cool! Thanks gonna go do that now
Hope it helped out. Thanks for watching!!
Thank you so much that helped me a lot
use a hair dryer on a low setting.
THANK YOU!!!
No problem! Glad this helped you out! Thanks for watching!!
No Problem To!
thank you
thanks broham!
Thank you for sharing this
Should sanitizer work instead of rubbing alcohol
Does it specifically need alcohol? Because i just ran out of alcohol
Does Ronsonol work too? The damn RUclips google ads seem to suggest that.
I needed a cotton ball to remove prices tags , with the rub alcohol .
Nail polish remover with acetone works. Let it rest for 20-30 seconds, don't touch it, and the tag should come right off.
Goo and all.
If it has benzyl benzoate, even better.

You are welcome! Thanks for watching!!
You are a genius! Who wants to give a birthday gift to someone with a $3.99 ROSS price sticker???🙁
I have a question does it work on a dirt bike? Edit:because I can’t take the warning label off
That's a great question... I have never tried. Can't hurt to try. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching!
I use a few drops of oil.

Will this work with thick stickers that are decorations on a plastic dollhouse, such as a clock face?
Can I use hydrogen peroxide? I currently don't have any rubbing alcohol.
Use a plastic closer from a bread bag instead of your fingernail. It won't scratch and it will save your manicure.
Have you seen my nails? Or lack of? Haha but really… good tip! Thanks for watching!
Just do this;
1) put scotch tape on price part and, then strip it off
2) use a damp rag to rub all over sticker, boom, it crumbles and starts to disappear.
Thanks: 👀
Thxxx broo
I thought rubbing alcohol had a tendency to melt some plastics, is that true?
Wouldn’t the blow dry method be faster?
I thank you for this!
Thank you for watching! Hope it helps out!
Plus alcohol won’t hurt your electronics
Thank you sir 😄🙋
Thank you! Hope it helped out!
Used this method to get stickers off of my friend's baby sister's barbie house 😂
Did this to my powerbeats
Theres a special place in hell for the people who put these stickers on things.
😂
I wish I could add pictures to this but I didn’t have any rubbing alcohol so I used nail polish remover and it looks sooo bad! Sure the sticker came off but it ruined the plastic and removed some of the writing! It’s a lipgloss btw
Do not use nail polish remover it destroyed my ps4 right before I was about to sell it
Yeah that is a good tip. That stuff can be pretty harsh. Thanks for checking out the video!
Good to know, what about to use this on my Xbox and I was gonna sell it.
WD-40
I hate those stickers😩
Me too! 😩😩
Still doesn’t work ugh 🙄
What about those stickers they use at the warehouse when buying online. They just slap those on where ever. Not caring hey people collect these.. so let's put the sticker right across the front...lol collect that.
Did not work at all
Goo gone stinks I have used it and it don't work
Tried this with a large sticker but the 99% isopropanol isn't doing anything. Not all adhesives will dissolve in it.
These stickers are punishment for a good deal.
😎
Alcohol will react with many plastics, making the problem worse.
And the paint came off.
but what do I do if the paper is on my skin and it wont come off because I let it sit over night and now my pants are wet from piss???? Now I have to do it all over again and fish dish on my wishes amiright?
😳
do you know this guy is just trying to waste rubbing alcohol you can do the same thing with water it actually works I tried
Stickers, BEGONE!😈
😁😁 Hope the video helps! Thanks for watching!
If you’re muslim, you can touch the rubbing alcohol but you can't drink it. (You wouldn't want to drink it anyways 😂).
Definitely don't want to drink it haha. Thanks for checking out the video!
