  • Building a NEW Steel Mezzanine Floor_PART 3 - Hand Rails + Final Cost
This video covers the purchase and installation of a steel mezzanine floor that measures 6 metre wide x 4 metres deep. It is going up one end of an existing 14 metre x 9 metre steel farm shed.
The Mezzanine Floor kit was designed and purchased from SHEDBLOG in Australia:

Thank you for watching and commenting! I had for years spent time trying to get a plan together to instal a mezzanine floor. Finding the company I used made it very easy. All the items came over a period of two weeks and the instructions were clear enough for my son and I to put it together. I have noticed recently there are more companies offering similar style of kits to the one I used. You can also just buy the plans of the kits which show you all the specs of the materials if you want to source the steel yourself and I think most come with the engineers certificate which I think is a big thing if you ever have to sell the property. Cheers Dave.

Great video series, thank you for making them. My 10 by 5 metre mezzanine kit is on the way so this will be very helpful when I start construction.

I am making good use of the Mezzanine. Went together pretty simple so I am sure you will find it easy enough to get it set up. Cheers Dave.

Great series mate! Thanks for going in detail with your build. Looking at doing something similar so it has helped tremendously on where to start.

I thought about doing it for years but in the end it worked out pretty easy to build and only took a couple of weekends and was done! Cheers Dave

Shed is 14 metres long x 9 metres wide with a wall height of 3.3 metres. Not sure of the roof angle but it is 4.2 metres to the peak. Mezzanine kit was 6 metres x 4 metres. Cheers Dave
