- Moonlight or Clair de lune in French, is one of the most famous work of Claude Debussy. It’s a piece from La Suite bergamasque, a piano suite which is often considered the best piano composition of his youth. It was published in June 1905 and has four movements:
1. Prélude
2. Menuet
3. Clair de Lune
4. Passepied
Debussy had originally envisioned a suite in open form, containing a prelude, a minuet, a sentimental promenade and a pavane. The promenade became the Clair de Lune, and the Passepied replaced the pavane.

I really don't think any other piano's tone is a match for this composition. Kawai's concert grand is, inarguably, majestic rich bright & warm in one package. May I add; your piano skill is a joy to witness. Breathtaking performance. Barenboim is usually my choice. But after this, even I'm asking myself which performance I prefer.
