There's no such thing as a free lunch. However, my measure of how much is too much is I compare youtube ads against live TV. A 60 second ad block placed around every 10-15 minutes is reasonable. 90 seconds every 5 minutes is insane.

Even the FBI recommends using adblockers. RUclips ad moderation is non existent.
