  • Does gold feel expensive? Well, it could be because central banks are buying 34% of annual gold supply. Central banks have continued record gold purchasing in 2023, so it won't be changing any time soon. What does that mean for the rest of us?

The trick these days seems to be recognizing a "dip" when we see one. Recent dips have been minuscule in terms of percentage of price declines.
I haven't bought any gold in 2024 and my stack keeps calling to me for reinforcements! lol Maybe I am being foolish in this but a real dip at this
point, to me at least, would be a breaking below $2200. If it does that, I would buy. If it continued to drop, I would buy more. Have a lot of dry
powder that needs to go somewhere and gold is my preferred location.

I always looked at gold much like vacant land. Buying land on the out skirts of town can often mean a lower prices the further you get away from the population centers. As the population center spreads out towards the same land often getting more valuable. Central bank are the population center in my scenario. When they start buying up the vacant land around you the prices move up.

But one thing is certain, this is not an investment and never has been. Retirement and investments are completely separate in our budget.
We never started buying silver or gold until all our debt was paid off. Wealth grows much faster now.

I kind of wonder if central banks at some point will create a dip at some point, like you said central bank strategy.

Shame I missed the Dip over the weekend, but I spent my saved pm budget, plus a slight short term loan from another budget line, on the previous one, so I actually got a better deal. Glad it worked in my favor. Thanks for keeping us informed!

Central banks seem to act rationally. Rather than buy the dip, they have set goals and dollar cost average their purchases. The fact they can print their own money should also be noted when considering the high prices.

I am noticing a lot of selling going on from retail, lots of pre 1933 gold showing up at the shops and some of my local coin shops are on hold with full inventories unable to buy the DIP at these prices. I believe many will regret not buying these DIPS as gold soars above $3000 as institutions/governments keep buying. The state of the world has never been more scary. Continue stacking and goodluck to all ❤🎉

Thanks.... Now I've got that damn song that goes " lf i dip, you dip, we DIP" stuck in my head lol ii think there will be a couple small dips as the price rises from people wanting to cash in but the smart money is to hold for now because gold is about to go on a bull run. Thank you again for the opportunity!

I wonder how much reclamation is accounted for in production data. We all see the granny’s turning in broken necklaces for melt when the prices get high. We could discuss this more but I gotta DIP out.

As a metalsmith with the current prices i can only buy scrap, melt it down and then pour my own bars, then roll it into sheet or whatever i need. I definitely need a "Dip" to be able to both invest more and for my jewellery business. However im not going to ruin perfectly good coins for jewellery making. I use casting grain for that.

I’m all in on gold too and have been for months. I definitely moved off of silver and have been focusing on 1oz Buffalos and Maples. I still have about 500+ ounces of silver just incase it actually takes off about $30. Anyways, great video as always!

Buying the Dip is the way to go if possible. However the price of gold is makes it hard to be a consistent stacker.

Sometimes the DIP is actually a drop so I don’t worry as much about timing dips, so much as staying consistent.
