hey everyone, welcome to our channel, and the first episode in the House on the Hill South African Jazz Community Showcase series ! pls feel free to leave comments and let us know what you think !
a bold statement made in a country with some seriously killing bass players Mthokozisi ! but yeh, Shane is one of the greats (we think it's because he's from PE/eBhayi/Gqeberha !)
@@houseonthehill3880 I acknowledge all awesome bass players as a bass player myself. I just personally hold Shane in high esteem...Cool fact there...I always thought he is a Western Cape dude..nice one
You are beyond amazing. My soul has never been razzmatazzed like this ever. Good Lord, you are amazing Thandi, Hallelujah🙏👐 Thank you so much for being so gifted and amazing🤟
There's no part of being that isn't moved by this performance. They take you with them and when they explain how the experience of giving that performance was it's just an amazing and well executed idea. Truly genius
I keep on coming back here. I probably would have lost my mind during this covid-19 lockdown were it not for such House on the Hill concerts. I developed new found respect for all these artists, especially in this accoustic setting.
The love I have for jazz and the love I have Thandi Ntuli ear for it... just on another level. I can't belive I'm missed session but I guess thank for platform like RUclips to relive that moment even months and years past. Cant wait to see you live with the world getting back to norm.
hey Nosipho, thanks for watching - during the first lockdown no one was allowed to do this kind of thing in such close quarters ! we started when we could. no audiences as yet no, but that may change in the future ...

Shane Cooper is actually my favorite bass player in South Africa hands down....from Bra Zim days, Kyle's work, Ndabo's record and the Mabuta stuff...
