How are you? Everything looks great. Good luck on coming racing season. The pakestani or iranian high flyers do travel a little but usually they should stay on top of the loft. You nees to feed them light like wheat or milo to fly them better. Good luck. Its getting hot here also. I am going to Turkey on Sunday for three weeks and my friend will take care of the birds. 😘😘😘 give my love to family.
I’m doing fine. I hope you are as well. safe travels and have a great trip! I’ll get those highflyer straightened out. They are an interesting breed for sure. 👍
Yes, the other three are doing excellent brother. That red one was just unfortunate circumstance. I shut the lights off so now we’ll see what happens.🤞
Hey my friend, thanks for the comments. The GPS idea is a great one. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. There’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you for a while. What does “Chino les” mean?
Hey Thomas, our first Youngbird race is the third weekend in September and it’s only like a 60 mile race for me so the first race is more like October for me.
I keep track of the amount of feed as a reference only. But it depends on how much they fly, how well they trap when they come down, temperature outside and other factors. If they aren’t flying then a good rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon each bird, but you have to double that in the winter. after about a week, you can feel the birds and see if they’re wait is sufficient Also, if birds aren’t flying well, you will have to slim them down a bit. I hope that helps.

Mike y are u not separating male and females?????
These are young birds I’ve never separated the sexes before. Is that something that you do?
Hi Mike,
Do you feed your birds a certain amount feed per bird or do you feed them all they want until they stop eating? Thanks!
