Not tryna be against this because I think you are spot on. Just one thing I would like to add is that before you drive them out. They should be able to go out and fly from the coop for say 1 hr. That will allow them to get to know the surrounding areas. Then I would resume. Thanks for the video
Hey man! Your north south east and west compass that you drew with your black magic marker is in the wrong spot! The East should be on the right side in the west should be on the left side! Just saying!!
Sir Thank you. Im new in pigeon racing. By luck I was given older pigeons 10 of them. The challenge was to familiarise them with Soweto. To my surprise I am following what you just saying I'm left with eight lost two got lost. Thank you very you just encouraged me more.
Thank you, hope this helps you. We all still lose birds every season. Not every pigeon will want to come home, the best thing is to give them the best treats and grains, pigeons love a good variety of grains. If trained properly, and they’re not injured or hit by a hawk, they will try their best to get home, and remember to make sure they’re hungry on short tosses, They’ll hurry home to eat.
Hey, i’m new to the sport as well. Haven’t tried nor learned every thing either. But had alot of experiences, and this is what worked for me best. My pigeons hardly ever gets lost using this method. If they’ve gotten lost, most likely some kind of interference took place along the way.
Thanks for the kind words, but sorry i am not the best teacher, i am just a helper. The best teachers won’t share their secrets to help others so i have to just share simple details to help out beginners. As when i first started out I didn’t know what to do, and needed more clearer details which I didn’t find many. But thanks for your words, God Bless!!
Thanks, and yes this system works. 4 of My late hatch yearlings was able to get home from their first year against old birds at 500miles using this system.
I live in an area where thr wasn't a good spot from south its sloping badly over a lake. I try to fly them from south several times about a mile n they got loss everytime. Even my old birds cannot make it. I flew them from north end n they do fine. I think its about the geography of the area during the beginning of training.
Julio's DIY you should go slow in the beginning. Train multiple times, some areas have bad magnetic fields and are confusing to the birds. Or you should jump the distance and go much farther out past that spot. I had the same situation back then. There is this one spot 10miles out, if u released the birds there they take forever to get home. So I just went out another 8-10 miles and they got home quickly
@@xiongguysloft9560 huge city wire towers runny right on the south side from east to west by my house its causing magnetic field issues for sure. I can hear them zap when its cloudy or rains or snow thats how strong it is, it may contribute to my health issues too such as body aches.
Julio's DIY yeah, them power lines are no joke, there’s thousands of voltage flowing through them, Take the birds out further away from that area and they’ll learn to fly away from or over it. I train my birds about a mile from those large power lines to teach them to fly over them.
Thanks grand grand grand father for letting me know about this real thing about training racing pegions i am your 7th generation grand son from future love you all ..
i agree to you iam not saying your method is wrong its good if you have time we all know we have job my teainning on my bird is all observation when i loft fly i ovserve them when they rainging how long they are missing my now if they make like 1/2 hour to an hour of ranging it means they fly already like 30 miles from my loft so its useless to me to toss them 10 miles me my first toss is always 50 miles twice next toss will be 100 miles twice 2 weeks before i load them for the race your method is very good dont get me wrong like what i said its good if you have lots of time good luck to all of us flyer in there again dont get me wrong iam not attacking you ok thanks
Yes, there’s many ways to train a pigeon to fly home. This is what was best for us, we lost few pigeons this way. Some people go to far too soon, and they lose alot of pigeons. We go slow like this so the pigeons remember their way home and get used to the basket and knows when they are in the basket, they are meant to fly home. You go too far too soon they might fly a different direction and join other flocks because they forget where their home is. If you don’t care wether the birds come home or not, it’s up to you. Everyone trains different.
I let 19 of my young birds out for first time out of loft but before I let then out I had them locked in box cage so they could see thier surroundings for three weeks and they knew how to go through traps really good. Then I let them out of loft for the first time and I lost half of them what am I doing wrong?

How did you come to 15 miles magnetic field around house ... similar to my triangle toss training and line of flight path training ... 👍
👍

Yes i said that in the description lol 😆
You lost me at West! 🤣🤣.jkjk. Thanks for the info. Will definitely check you the rest of the playlist!
lol, good luck man. I share content that I myself don’t mind looking back on 30yrs from now .
All your videos are very helpful. My first year having pigeons and first time racing too.
Thanks, I hope our videos can help you in your loft and help you be very competitive, God Bless!! 👍
Let us know your results start your own channel and let us know 👍
Yeah. I still have a lot to learn. But growing up with pigeons is the most important.
Our first race is next weekend already. Any advice from your experiences?😊
I have a question. If the homing pigeons will always come back to their loft one flown, why would one randomly leave and join strays?

The reason you dont lose them is that your not competing.
Thanks for info, I have question Can I train city pigeon like that?
Good stuff man. I'm a beginner, and appreciate you.
Thanks hope this program helps you
Your East and West on the compass points are in the wrong places.
It really is that simple. I would add to use a distance calculator app so you get a very accurate distance.
Yes thank you
Great! Thank you for sharing.
👍👍

Wtf... never knew you can train a god damn pigeon to be a messenger

HOMERS- NOT RACERS!!! DID YOU EVER WON ANYTHING!
If you watched our videos you would know, racing pigeons is a tough sport. Due to many interferences, and winds, it’s almost always any birds day
Informative video ! I really like
some of your vids are fantastic by the way
best teacher I've heard ever, right in to detail simple as ever

Why wont they let you join a pigeon club ?
There was no active club at the time, but they reached out finally and we raced for two seasons
Better check your directions again.
I guess you didn’t read the description lol

Respect to you Sir🙏🙏🙏
I'm definitely going to try this method Makes the most sense to me Thank you

Thanks for your video but I think it is wrong and confusing
Hey, to each his own. You can train any way and every way you want. But the more experience the bird has the better.

@@billykohl3711 3 weeks is too soon in my opinion. I had mine in my loft for 2-3 months before I even let them loft fly.
