Really #1 should be heat management. All the other points are obvious. But solving the excessive heat is crucial in taking a car from NA to FI. As most know, when a compressor compresses air it heats up that air. With more energy exerted by combustion in the cylinders due to the increase in fuel and pressure comes .. more heat. It's all about the heat management.

Main one is have a good turbo oil drain as if you have a bad one that is to small or kinked lines you will have oil pushed through the compressor side of the turbo making a lot of smoke and lowing the octane of the fuel that goes into your engine

Any kinked line sounds like a bad idea to me.

this is true but i have seen too many of my friends go on with bent or kinked lines and wonder why it over heats or oil goes everywhere so thought worth a mention.@@Bbeavis
