Thank you, glad you liked it
Great video! I'm planning out my color schemes right now and this video helped me know how many colors I should be aiming for.
happy to hear, would love to know what you are planning
Loving ur videos, I feel like I’ve learned so much more from them than other videos. Maybe the way you present the information or something? Idk they’re great tho! Keep up the great work!
thanks for your support, i try to keep them as short and as full of info as possible
Very helpfull, thank you!
you are wellcome
Nice I just printed like 70 of these so this is good timing.
Nice, hope they come out great
Oil wash really finished these guys! I need to use my oil paints more. Great video, thanks!
thank you, will be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it they give quite a unique style
Great video! Simple and yet very useful
Thank you!
Amazing. Great video!
Thank You
Paint job came out great! Where did the models come from? I don't recognise them, but they look really good!
thank you, they are from highand miniatures gallia range
This is great!
your model are great
Great video! Simple, and very useful. Perfect for planning a big batch. What colours are you using in the video? They are really nice. I vibrant and then dirty down well.
tahnk you, i used ballejo model color prusian blue and dark vermellion as well as new game color sun yellow
@@resourcefulminiatures thank you so much! Can trouble you for the Skin tone too ☺
@@cdsteer94 hmm, i oftern swapt it around from model to model. Im pretty sure the archer used a base of model color beige red and the men at arms german orange, for highlights i might have used cork brown.
What oil wash color did you use and do you have a recommendation brand?
Very inspiring tips and bideo
thank you very much
Meh…i think the oil washes leave the small scale model too dark. Its better to use the 2 parts black, 2 parts brown and 2 parts matt medium to the acrylic wash. Faster too
Love the oil wash, when ever I've tried to do it I just end up with a wash that wont dry for days and doesn't come off.
weird, i have them fully dry by the next day at most. Might be a thing of the brand
Good stuff
thank you
Great job. How long do you wait after painting the arylic before the oil wash?
no more than 5 min, with mettallics i suggest to wait longer, but as long as you are gentle no paint will come off
@@resourcefulminiatures Thanks! and how long do you leave the oil wash on before wiping that off
@@lightkon1477 from 30-60 minutes, it depends between colors and dilution, youll figure it out with time, Btw oil wash masterclass coming out tomorrow
Are these models 3d printed? One can see the print lines some places.
yes they are
Who makes those figures?? Highlands?
yes
What type of sponge did you use to pull the wash off?
make up sponges, you can also use q-tips
And what yellow paint was he using?
thats "sun yellow" from the new vallejo game color, i did do a previous ochre yellow coat to build it up from
