Scream was just too cringe for me, maybe because I also saw scary movie first and hated that with a vengeance residual feelings ended up with scream. I didn't know it had a changing script, which makes sense because you can't put your finger on the killer. The more older horrors I see though I think the more references I'll get in scream. But it's still a self aware fan service fist bump for horror nerds. It's the Deadpool of horror - which was also shit.
