Maybe it's rose tinted spectacles, I've grown up, but it just seemed more fun, more colourful, more realistic, actually. In the strive for perfection, like in the real world, it has led to a sterile, rather joyless experience. Football, in the English premier league, has become corporate and family oriented. Its nothing like the loud, tribal terraces of the '80s. You have to go to Brazil, North Africa, Turkey, for that kind of noisy, vibrant, fanatical football terrace experience now. Shame, only England games does that resurface. Not club level.

Brandes Gamer Fifa 15 is more polished, if you look outside the field in pes15 everything is static and low res, fan's cheering all look very generic. Also the lighting seem more natural in fifa15.

Huge change from 94-97. There hasn't been a leap like that in a while. 12 and 15 is different but also very similair.

The biggest technical jump for me was from 1999 to 2000. Pretty sure there was a generation change that time.

I used to play FIFA 98 on Megadrive II. With PC version FIFA 99 is the best IMO.
