I was waiting for this one, you mentioned before how you didn't enjoy play Lucus much but your play style works with Lucus so well, he does have true combos but he thrives off the random reads you get to extend combos, which is your specialty. Great video! You should totally play Lucus more!

FINALLY! As a Lucas main I've been waiting for this. I love that you figured out how crucial his down tilt is. I love all the spikes. I use up smash as a taunt after taking stocks. It reminds me of the basketball chalk throw lol

YOOO THE TAUNT ME TOO!! I use it because in mother 3 Lucas pulls needles to save the world. A huge part in M3. His up smash is simalar to the animation of him pulling it. It’s like he’s saving the world again :)

Lucas seems like a secret top tier but the hard thing about him is that he has so many options against someone off stage (Down smash at ledge, down angled f tilt at ledge, down air spike, back air spike, forward air, PK Fire, PK Thunder gimp, PK Freeze) that is really is hard to choose

I'm pretty sure the only difference between Ness' PK Fire and Lucas' is the direction they go when used mid-air?
- The different direction mid air
- Lucas PK-Fire has knockback, while Ness PK-Fire damages overtime like holy water
- And Lucas PK-Fire can push him away while using midair (I am unsure, but I think Ness' PK-Fire doesn't do that)

Lucas is a character that requires so much extra effort to be a low high tier. You either play a barebones lucas and suffer as a mid tier or learn how to schmove and play a low high tier.
